Hampden Moving and Storage was established in Baltimore, Maryland in 1895. Over the years the company has grown, expanded, and become one of the most recognized names in the moving industry. From the horse and wagon days to a fleet of modern moving vans and storage warehouses that can provide a specialized climate and humidity environment, Hampden has come a long way.
The famous Hampden Kid has been a household name for generations. Even today repeat customers call Hampden Moving and Storage and sing the little jingle and let us know that we handled their move five, ten or even forty the Hampden Kid years ago. The Hampden Kid is alive and well at Hampden Moving & Storage.
Movers were early, packed up and loaded in awesome time, and went above and beyond throughout the entire day. Couldn't recommend them more. Moves are always stressful, but Roy and his crew handled everything calmly. We changed our mind on what we were going to store and what we were going to keep with us several times, and they all accommodated us with a smile.

Absolutely amazing job by this group with Mike Hudgins in charge. Crew completed entire moving process in 31/2 hours !!! Great teamwork , very friendly , cautious with special items , no moving issues , and really made us so relieved that this was all accomplished. Will recommend this company to anyone interested. We had some some very challenging pieces to move, along with some heavy work shop equipment. The Team that came out to move it all was very professional, had a can do attitude and went to getting it done.
They complimented us on how we labeled. packed and organized out boxs to help them. We highly recommend Hampden Moving service.

We have used an Allied moving company before when moving from Georgia to Maryland and had a very bad experience, but decided to take a chance again because they seemed very professional. Super glad we gave them a chance because these people were awesome! A team of 4 movers showed up right on time packed everything into the truck, and got it moved, unloaded, and reassembled all of the large furniture all on the same day. I couldn't be happier with the way this team handled our move!

We had never used movers before, so we were very nervous about putting our long distance move from Maryland to Florida in the hands of movers. We had heard horror stories, but, Hampden Moving and Storage was wonderful to work with. The person they sent out to check everything out and estimate the costs (Link) was there on time, was personable and answered all my questions. Then, Kelly, the coordinator for the move was excellent and very patient with me. She told me everything to expect and when. Then, moving day came, and the person handling our move, Porter, and his entire team were excellent

I simply cannot say enough good things about Hampden Moving and Storage. Debbie and Mark were so responsive to our needs- even after our needs changed several times through the course of our moving. They were quick to find solutions and ensured that our move was an efficient and stress free experience. The service team handled our items with care and were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend anyone moving to give Mark McMahon a call. Mark was prompt, thorough and efficient assessing our items to be moved and gave us a great price. The crew showed up on time and took great care of our items. Communication was perfect throughout the entire process. I have no doubt Mark and the crew at Von Paris will do as great a job for you as they did for me.

It has been two years. I long ago lost any and all hope that these people would make even a modest attempt to make things right. The reply you see from them was lip service: "look how concerned we are-but we'll never actually do anything." Yeah. Thanks for nothing. Their final act of customer service? They blocked me. Awful company! They make promises to unpack but their definition of unpack is to dump the boxes on the floor. They also have very rude staff. The foreman yelled at us (and I was pregnant with twins on bed rest at the time) and kept saying "this isn't my job." Not to mention they damaged two expensive items and said they did not. Oh, and they took 3 days to move our items but the manager of the company asked us "why did it take two days? This was a one day job." You are the expert, you tell me. I would NEVER use this company. Horrible service, empty promises, and they are
