I was absolutely amazed and so happy with the level of service and final result of the pool replastering. He was very responsive, answered all of my questions (and I had a LOT of questions), got us on the schedule in a reasonable amount of time and most importantly completed the work on time and for the cost agreed upon.

Return customer treated like trash. We contacted Ruben to come out and resurface our pool for a 2nd time. He provided an estimate and we verbally agreed on the scope of work and price. When we reached out again to to advise we were ready with the materials he raised the quote and was incredibly rude. He stated that he was very busy and was not going to give up on a $10k to $15k job for our job. This company clearly doesn't value building relationships or returning customers. I understand changes in the market but not the attitude he took! Thanks but no thanks.

I had Rubin and his company, Baja Pool Plastering do my pool way back in 2013 and they not only did a good job, but the cost was very reasonable. The great price also included an additional supply line put in under my cement walkway. My only regret was not having them put in a complete pool tile replacement at the top of the pool, rather than just a partial fix for missing tiles.

Thanks to this great pool plastering company, we now have a new spectacular high-end pool. Could not be more pleased with the great work the crew did. The project supervisor and his hard-working crew did an awesome job and made our pool stand out. It's like no other pool we have seen. Is NOT a member of the BBB . Ruben Castillo DBA Baja Pool Plastering is NOT a licensed contractor . Ruben Castillo is a fast talking, shyster. Yes, he insists he knows about pools , his website is designed to draw you in...However, Ruben Castillo chooses to just do a lot of talk with very little pride of workmanship. We got taken by this guy. He BEGGED us to please give him a chance...having tax problems etc.....would make our pool a priority, he said " as a man, guaranteed his work", takes pride in his work..blah

This guy Ruben Castillo is a wasting time, He did to me what he's done to the other two reviews.
Came to the house talked about for about an hour. Also inviting me to get involved in some health treatment with bees, Illegal of course because he does not have health permit. And other permit that have to see with people health Anybody that read this review be careful this guy is after something and of course I didn't pay attention to his offers. We have to stop this due anybody interesting in doing so sent me an email and collectable we can filed a complain with CONTRACTOR BOARD. Cuz

I called Ruben Castillo Baja Pool Plastering to have my pool tile cleaned. The pool tile was very calcified it was a difficult job. But they did excellent work cleaning bringing the old tile back to life, it almost looks new. His pricing was fair and they completed the job in a timely manner. I will definitely use them again for my pool maintenance and repairs.

Called several times. Supposedly the owner Ruben Castillo was to come out. After 2 days he came by. Myself beingsomewhat satisfied with initial meeting wanted to go ahead and proceed with the job of resurfacing my pool. Not a good idea. I was told 5 different times he was coming out to get things started. On two seperate occasions I was given start date. But on both occasions he failed to show. Two days after first date he was to show I got a text saying he would be there in am. Come morning time - no show, no call, I have no idea! But still believe it or not I again tried to get in touch with
