We have used their service twice recently, first time they moved our furniture from our home (sold) to a storage unit (a few miles away), second time (two months later) at the storage place, loaded a rented Penske truck. They did an excellent job, especially Pat, he has 32 years experience, he is like a "Jigsaw puzzle artist" when loading a truck, snugly, evenly and balanced. I myself drove this rented 26' Penske truck for 8 days, almost 2800 miles to NV, the furniture are all good without any damage. It makes this trip worthwhile.

We had used Able a few years back for a local move with good results. And this time the Able folks provided a competitive quote amongst the five companies solicited. The actual cost was much lower.
They showed up on time and worked all day. The two trucks didn't have enough space left for a pack of cigarettes. They quickly carried the heaviest of furniture with no accidents or damage. Moving in was just as good, maybe better

Cannot say enough good things about this moving company. From scheduling service to the professionalism and efficiency of the crew on moving day.. they took the stresses of moving away and tackled the project in an amazing fashion. Crew showed up on time and finished within the projected timeframe which was incredible considering the size of the move. Highly recommend hiring Able for your move or storage needs.

We recently had the good fortune of retaining Able Moving and Storage to relocate us from Vermont to Connecticut. I received a quote from their estimator who was knowledgeable about the moving business and gave me lots of information about how best to pack and prepare for the move.
On moving day, four men arrived smiling and ready to go. They introduced themselves and off they went. They worked quickly and efficiently but were pleasant and friendly every step of the way.
I needed to store my household over night and have my furniture and boxes delivered to the new house the next day after closing. When I arrived at the new house

We could not be happier with Able Moving. A rep visited our house and had a professional app to catalog our stuff and provided a very reasonable quote (other companies either wouldn't visit the house or did but took notes on a pad). The day of the move, the very experienced 4 man crew arrived early and did an awesome job getting everything on the truck in a perfect fit. At the new house, they unloaded quickly and went above and beyond to get everything in place and installed with no damage. Our family, former military, has had the experience of moving 20+ times in the last few decades, including twice this year. After extensive research I decided to go with Able moving over some of the national brands. This was our experience, and why they earned this rating.
-Management was in touch with me from start to finish. I was always able to get in touch with someone, and they were prompt and upfront about contacting me so I always knew what was happening and how issues were being addressed.

I had never had the luxury of having movers to help with moving before, and I have to say it's really awesome, especially with such a great team of professionals like the ones from Able!
The three gentlemen that came over were very polite and efficient. They talked with us about the job and kept us informed as they were moving things. Example: they asked us to unplug our TV so that when it came time to move it, it would be all set instead of asking us to unplug it when they got to it, which would have wasted time. We called and compared prices with many moving companies before choosing Able. John Nolan was the straightest shooter and the most pleasant to deal with.
The crew that came to our house was unbelievebale. We had some very difficult pieces to move and they took their time, moved slowly and expertly. They were a joy to work with!
No surprises except for the amount of professionalism shown by the movers.

I had occasion to use their services recently, and found their professional movers to be top notch - from a handshake and friendly introduction when they arrived to careful packing and moving of my household items to a friendly handshake - and a thank you - when they were finished. Perhaps the best part is that the final price came in much lower than was estimated. I would definitely call this company the next time I need help with a move.
