Had Solar panels installed on my building. They made the whole experience very easy on me and the installation looks really good. It fits my building perfectly. They handled everything very well and made the paperwork and application process very easy as well. Everyone that I dealt with in person and on the phone were very friendly and knowledgeable.

I have made inquire about solar panel installation.
Unfortunately I had to speak to Jennifer Florentino. She seemed very incompetent. Asking a lot of questions without providing any information. Being not helpful at all.
If business has such incompetent person on front end, I would be very concern about rest of operation.
Use them on your own risk.

My panels just went live last month. Production so far is right on track with their estimates. During the first phase of the process they were super attentive and gave me lots of good info. Somewhere in the middle of the process communication was lagging and I had to push a little, but in the end it was completed 2 weeks past their initial estimate. Not too bad. Overall I'd recommend them. The panels look great.

I was considering a few different companies and purchase options when a neighbor recommended Sun Badger. I spoke with Ann several times and she was very responsive and patiently answered all my questions. Once I made the decision to move ahead, everything progressed smoothly and the install was completed on time. The field techs made a last minute adjustment on panel configuration because they thought it would look better on my roof and I am glad they did. System is up and working fine, and I’ve produced a lot more energy than I’ve used so far! I am recommending them to friends.

We were very pleased with our solar experience with Sun Badger Solar company. After researching for two months, we decided to go with a company that is locally operated. Sun Badger solar services 4 states and has great customer service in all of them, unlike some other nationally operated companies whose customer service is only good in certain states. From our first call with Marina to our last call with Audrey after project installation, the running of the entire project was very efficiently handled. They explained solar energy, the savings, benefits, and answered all our questions thoroughly

This is a great sales and marketing company. They however do not install solar panels or solar equipment. You'll be working with a subcontractor and unfortunately per my experience, you'll be general contracting the installation as the "basecamp" project management software isn't used by the sub contractor. Go figure? I've had so, so many horrible experiences with this company I can't even really begin to write them all down. I'll just mention one, dramatically awful episode that included a lien on my property by a sun badger vendor for a payment dispute

I like the products they sell. Enphase microinverters are great. The trina panels are a good value. The sales staff is a good sales staff. The prices are reasonable. The permit plans are thorough for record.
Install went ok. It looks good.
Cons:
The communication within this company and to me was absolutely sad. Lack of communication, miscommunication, NO communication. Once they sign you up and get your down payment, the communication slows.
I had high hopes. They let me down and now I can't recommend them.

I've looked for quotes for a Solar system for my house. Sun Badger was the only one with such a responsive and accommodating team. I asked to speak to someone and I meat Noah shortly after. He spent time answering all my questions and concerns. He was professional but also personable. It was a pleasure working with him and the Sun Badger team. The process was easy and informative, especially through their app. The system was installed within the time line they set. My husband and I kept seeing solar panels go up in our neighborhood and finally decided to explore our options. The first company we called was absolutely atrocious and would have completely turned us off to the whole idea. Then we called Sun Badger Solar and I am so glad that we did! I hired Sun Badger Solar to manage and install a solar system at my home residence. I couldn't be happier with the results. It is up and operational now. I also need to give special recognition to Lawrence Mike Hopper from Sun Badger Solar, who was/is always available to answer my questions and concerns. They are a quality company that continues to monitor the solar systems they install, even after installation. The Fresh Coast Crew that did the installation was also phenomenal.

After agreeing on a price and SIGNING A CONTRACT to hire them for our solar installation, they said there was in internal "miscommunication" and they would have to charge me an additional $3,600 for the already agreed upon service. They cancelled our contract and refused to do any of the agreed upon work unless the additional money was paid.

Install of solar went fine. Everything else including post install support was horrible. There was constant lack of communication within the company. I wanted to go local and help locally, but they have a few bad apples which killed their service. To make matters worse, I felt I was lied to by the manager, who constantly didnt file for permits, communicate what was to be done, and did not timely submit my rebate for SRECS. It was not till I followed up a month later that she stated she still had not submitted it. It happened on more than one occasion. Just constant lack of communication

So glad we went Solar more importantly so glad it was with Sun Badger. Many of our neighbors have done installs with SunRun, and they are sloppy. Our array is stunning on top of delivering awesome results. The install crew was meticulous and really taught us a great deal more about solar. It was a pleasure doing business with these folks.....!

My installation went much more quickly than they told me it would but we ran into a problem going live because my meter needed to be repaired. When it is was not repaired correctly the first time, Trevor took immediate action to take care of the problem and make up for the time the system was not producing. It was a pleasure working with them.

They were easy to work with, quick to respond to any questions or concerns, and kept us in the loop through each step. I was a bit hesitant to go with solar in the Chicago area, especially right before winter, but our system is performing well and we're already saving money, even in January! I requested information and Trevor got back to me within 24hrs. He set up a meeting just a couple days later. The meeting didn't feel like your typical sales call which was amazing. Both my wife and I really appreciated that because we didn't feel pressured. He educated us about solar energy, the products he uses and why he uses them over other products.
