Made from naturally occurring cellulose, Tencel is an increasingly popular fiber that takes carpet dyes exceptionally well. Viscose carpeting, manufactured from subtly glossy man-made fibers, offers a cost-effective alternative to silk. We did two projects at once with Melrose Carpet -- a stair runner on very old, pokey stairs and a wall-to-wall situation in our basement. Both came out STUNNING. José, who took the measurements was so kind, efficient and knowledgable. Isac ran the projects and helped me look at about a million samples (so patient), and of course was instrumental in finding the winners. José (different José) and his father Severin came to do the installation and they were fantastic. There were a few decisions to be made on the fly on the runner; José had a great eye and a wonderful way of relaying things

In 2005 I worked with Janet at Melrose Carpet to do my shutters and curtains for my West Hollywood home. In 2006 I used them again for drapery/shutters in Los Angeles. Fast forward to 2021. Bought a cool TIC in Rampart Village with tons of windows. Needed world class wood blinds. I returned to Melrose Carpet and was so pleased to see Janet still there. Was even more pleased to learn that Albert still works there, does the measurements and installation.

Isac and the team at Melrose Carpet are very easy to work with. Their prices are extremely competitive and the selection is vast; they have everything you're looking for. They installed a runner on my stairs and I couldn't be more satisfied with the product and the price. The installer was prompt, professional, and respectful of my home. Ok. I just hung up and I am going down to select a new carpet for my bedroom. I've lived in my place in Hollywood for 30 years. For 30 years I have only used Melrose Carpet for Window Blinds, Carpet, and Flooring throughout my place. I love living here but every 6 years instead of moving I redo it and feels like a brand new place. They have great prices! Outstanding Service! Vast selection of quality products and they stand behind their work. It's installed and if by chance a blind is crooked, they will fix it. Although I cannot remember having to call them for a repair, I know

I found Melrose Carpet through a colleague who is a professional contractor. James was super helpful throughout the process and very good at responding to my needs. He showed me a carpet that was an excellent fit right away, and the price point was a little high, so he was willing to negotiate that to an amount that worked better with my budget.
The installation guys were incredible. So polite and informative about what they were doing. And, my place was spotless when they left.
All in all, I had an excellent experience and would recommend them.

Based on word-of-mouth recommendations from others, we selected Pioneer Home Supply to do the carpeting portion of a major home remodel. They did an outstanding job carpeting 7 rooms and a stairway. Their pricing was very competitive and Linda was great to work with. Would highly recommend Pioneer to others.

As a satisfied repeat customer we were happy to return to Melrose Carpet for our recent carpet purchase. I walked in with carpet samples and quotes from Lowes, which was having a sale. James was able to introduce me to carpets by other mills which I liked more, and were comparably priced. Also, Melrose installs a much better carpet pad. James was very patient with me asking questions and taking 3 months to decide and be ready for installation. Other than one small glitch which we worked out, everything ran smoothly. The staff is very friendly, and the installers did a superb job. Thank you

I've been going to Melrose Carpet and Isac for 30 years. My first house needed seagrass before it was popular and someone sent me to this little "find" on Melrose and Hayworth. Since then and moving to many homes over the years, I've never stopped using them. I even made them drive to Thousand Oaks when I was living there for a time. They are honest, reasonable, reliable. There's nothing they can't do and their work is top, top, top! They are the only carpet store to use in the whole Los Angeles area!

I have been working with Melrose carpet for many years. I love that it is a family company. The people who laid down my floor also have laid down my carpet 15 years ago in one or both of my apartments. The people who work there doing most of the jobs have been there 20 plus years! I love loyalty.
I am pregnant and have been nesting. Melrose Carpet did an incredible job with my curtains, and the most gorgeous white oak looking floors you've ever seen!! Hector and Didier did such an excellent, and thorough job! Even my neighbors were remarking about how clean the site and common areas were

Do NOT deal with this company!
They installed carpets in my condo. Where the diningroom and lounge join, the carpets edges are sunbleached from them storing it wrong. It also stand up at all the doors and have marks in various places. After a YEAR of many emails to JAMES, the manager, in which he kept promising me a new carpet, he finally sent out his men after i threatened to yelp him.
His guys walked in, then tell me that my warranty period had expired. I then showed them my years worth of emails. They then said ok, they will fix the problems.
The end result is now even worse than before.
