THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A 5 STAR REVIEW ....BUT!
ACE came out very quickly to a service call about trouble with our AC and we are very pleased with the work they did. They diagnosed the problem right away, ordered the part quickly, kept in communication with us and arrived in the same week with the replacement part. This is the description of an outstanding contractor ... But then ... There was a HUGE problem with their tech's visit today and his LACK OF COMPLIANCE to any COVID-19 regulations or policies--which in our case are crucial--my husband is 78, had a heart attack in April, and has both

I apologize for such a long review. We were forced to deal with Ace for over a month by our home warranty company, which made for a lot of wasted time. And I try to be detailed in my experience so that others have a really clear picture of what they can expect from Ace.
*Personal Note* No company is perfect and every company makes mistakes. I only give 1 star reviews to companies that refuse to make things right when they fall short.
Ace was assigned to me by my home warranty company at the end of May. Our AC was freezing up which was preventing any airflow to cool the house.

Called because a/c wasn't keeping up with the heat. Tech came out and said we were a pound low on freon. He added it in and left. Several hours later it was obvious that wasn't the problem. I texted him back and he just said it had frozen up and to turn it off. That didnt fix it.
Over the next few days I called and texted the technician and the business multiple times leaving messages. My husband tried calling.multiple times. No one ever answered or called us back.
Now we've found out its not working because we needed another vent put in, and they overfilled the a/c unit with freon
