Headquartered in New Providence NJ - George's Appliance is one of the oldest and most experienced home appliance repair service companies in NJ. Our technicians and staff are all factory trained with years of experience and go through a strict vetting process. Our office staff is available Monday to Friday from 830 AM to 500 PM to book an appointment.

We inventory many parts for major brands on our trucks and try our best to prescreen/diagnose as much as we can on the phone to attempt repairs in one visit. We provide factory warranty repairs for many major brands such a Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, Jenn Air, Amana, Frigidaire, Lynx, Bosch, Thermador, Electrolux, Speed Queen, and many more!

We also service PC Richards extended warranty contracts. Please contact our office staff if you have a product under manufacture warranty to find out more information on how to have your machine repaired. Check temperatures of oven - both single or double oven/range and calibrate where necessary. Price Includes Service Call *Does not include any parts or labor if a major repair deemed needed.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
Showed up, diagnosed oven, and then gave an absurd price on parts and labor to repair said oven. I think the quote was $600. I was able to buy the parts and replace them myself for $125.

They repaired our dryer, we were very happy with service. Same issue happened approx 3 months later called to inform them of issue. They were unwilling to provide discount etc., they would charge same fee to come out again, approx $140 service fee.
This was the first time we utilized this company and it will be the last. Very poor customer satisfaction!!

John showed up and spent 5 mins on my cook top and told me it’s an old model that cannot be repaired and charged me 99$ and change. They are a rip off and could have done this on the phone. Don’t with these cheats. John was not courteous and walked into my home with dirty shoes as well and then argued with me offensively when I told him that this could have done been done on the phone. I paid the 99 but courteously asked him to leave by home. RIP OFF !!!

Cannot say enough how highly I recommend George’s Appliance. These guys are awesome! We had a problem with our built-in refrigerator’s water dispenser constantly dripping water and had to eventually disable it after another appliance repair company misdiagnosed it, replaced an unrelated part and then wouldn’t stand behind their work. George’s got it right from the start, ordered all of the correct parts and then showed up when they said they would. Most importantly, they actually fixed the problem! Now it is good as new and I’m so pleased. They are reasonably priced too.

Our washing machine broke. I thought it was a simple fix so I purchased the part myself but then realized the fix wasn't so simple so I emailed Georges since it was after hours. I didn't expect a response until the next day but not to long after I sent the email I got a response. They let me know that this model typically has a problem with the screw of one of the pieces breaking off in the motor shaft ... I took a closer look and that was exactly the problem! After understanding the nature of the repair we decided to buy a new machine. They even recommend a good model to replace our machine with

We've had George's be very honest and helpful with us from the moment our washer and dryer kicked the bucket several years back. Flash forward to the covering of 30 day cosmetic issues on new items we purchased after we renovated our place recently. For the record, I prefer blunt, honest and helpful people over candy coated, slick, and overcharged/unnecessary work.

Make sure you are an educated consumer. Ordered a "Special Order" part for electric stove. Ended up not even breaking the seal on package. Never told of store policy of No Refund. Guy had to call owner for policy when I went to return part. No notification at purchase, no signage, nothing on receipt. Still may have purchased the part but would have preferred to know. Bad business if you ask me.
