Authentic Persian & Oriental Rugs is a family owned and operated business serving Colorado for over 28 years. We have the largest selection of unique hand made rugs in the state. We invite you to visit our showroom and take a few rugs home with you to try out; or, if you prefer, we can deliver them to your house and our interior designers will help you find the perfect rug for you.

You can also have your rugs cleaned, repaired, appraised, sell, trade, buy non-slip pads and more. We began importing rugs in the late 1970's as a means of paying for university. First off, they have a wonderful inventory and can make unique custom rugs upon request. Secondly, the staff and owners are kind, hard working people that go the extra mile to make sure their customers get a fair deal, gorgeous product and make the installation process and absolute breeze. I cannot recommend this store more highly.

I went to this store and received top shelf service even though my budget was not very large. Nasrin and her nephew showed me many rugs, going all the way to the bottom of a large stack, which was a lot of work! They have beautiful rugs in many styles and sizes, from all over the world. She gave me some good advice about size and color after looking at pictures of my rooms, things I had not considered. This is a wonderful store run by knowledgeable and friendly people, and I would not hesitate to work with them again or to recommend them to friends.

Great people!
I work in sales and know the game and you know what the hardest part of selling is as a buyer?
Figuring out what the hell you want/need!
Not only did they help me figure out EXACTLY what I want, they also helped me figure out what I NEEDED.
They were patient, took the time to share a bit of relevant history or the various rugs and are hands down full blown experts in the rug world.
My thoughts?
If you go ANYWHERE else for a rug, you’re a fool.
These people are 10/10.

I have been purchasing rugs from authentic Persian and oriental rugs since 1997. I have referred many friends to them and even an interior designer who now goes to them for her clients rugs. They personally bring back rugs from their originating countries. The quality and service is superior to anyone else in Denver. I consider my numerous purchased from them as the most valued items in my home. They have rugs and price points for everyone's needs.

This store really surprised me! From the outside it doesn't look like much, but on the inside they have a lot of product! The saleswoman was very helpful in helping us find something within our budget. The rugs range from machine made to finely handmade and cost from hundreds to tens of thousands of dollars. We brought a picture and the salewoman knew where to find the unique rugs in her showroom that matched.

Most of the rugs looked like fake repos and cheaply made with high price tags. There were some nice ones. Few & far in between. After spending too much time shuffling through rugs & working up a sweat; I went to another shop in Cherry Creek and found the real good quality rugs I was looking for. They got good reviews & that's why I went in. My guess is it's friends doing the reviews, not customers. It's a sham with constant sales to keep you coming in.

We just installed a new walnut floor in our home and needed a rug for the family room. My wife and I shopped all over Denver looking for the perfect one. Within 30 minutes of shopping at Authentic Persian and Oriental Rugs, we found the perfect one. All the people there are kind and extremely helpful. Simin is simply fabulous. She lets you try a carpet on for size and see if you like it. The selection is outstanding and the prices are half thar of Shaver Ramsey. I have purchased three gorgeous carpets here and would not go anywhere else.

Purchased a rug from these folks, and I would have to say that it was a good experience. This wasn't the only place we looked, and we paid a fair price for a fantastic hand woven rug. It's a recent purchase, but so far so good. We'll probably use them for years to come.
