R&D Painting is a Garner-based paint contractor serving the entire Triangle area. We have provided professional painting services in and around Raleigh since 2005. Locally owned and operated by Travis Robeson, R&D Painting will work closely with you to help you achieve the look you desire. Services
From beginning to end, R&D ensures your home will be painted to your satisfaction. Prior to starting your project, we will finalize colors and clarify any questions you may have. We will notify you of project duration and provide progress reports throughout. Once our crew has finished, a final inspection will be performed to identify and perform any touch-ups.

If it feels like it might be time to freshen up the inside of your home with new paint, R&D Painting can help. We come to your home and offer a free color consultation. This is where we'll walk you through every step of the painting process, from picking a color to what to expect while we work.
If you are beginning to notice that your exterior paint is peeling, fading, or blistering, it might be time to think about a fresh coat. Let R&D Painting make your home look fresh and new this spring! We always pressure wash before we paint, then scrape or prime so that we are working with bare wood.
You could do the job yourself with garage floor coating from a hardware store, but the results might not be what you expect. Those off-the-shelf products are not designed for long-term use and will likely peel off with your hot tires. The coating we put down is only as good as what's underneath it, so we'll use chemicals to peel away your old garage floor coating.
Does the wood or trim on the outside of your home look like its darkening or crumbling? It may be dry rot-or wood rot as it's commonly called. It's caused by certain fungus that deteriorates timber in buildings and other wooden construction. R&D painting can fix the issue and get the affected area painted in just 2 days.

Travis painted the outside of our home. The job included extensive carpentry to replace rotted wood. We needed the gutters removed and replaced. Travis coordinated the whole job, staying in communication with us throughout. I would absolutely use this company again!

We had a great experience with R&D painting. In an effort to keep down costs in my project budget, we opted to DIY paint certain projects. R&D Painting was patient, and totally willing to tailor the job to what we needed and could afford. They did the mass paint job of the body of the house and the porch, painting special attention to the porch ceiling. There was also a small section of Masonite siding replaced with new hardie board. * Detailed quote and scope of work assured me everything I needed done would be completed without a lot of surprise change orders.
* Not the lowest quote I received, but definitely the most responsive to my needs.
* The owner, Travis, communicated by text very often, keeping me completely informed on their progress and exact dates, times, and what they would be working on.
*Travis was also very responsive to our schedules, when we'd be home and when we'd be away.

I cannot be happier with my experience with R&D Painting. We refinished our ceiling and needed it popcorned to match the rest of the ceiling in the room. Travis fit us in his schedule earlier than I expected and his crew rocked it out very quickly. They did a great job blending the popcorn with the rest of the ceiling and you cannot see the transition at all. All I've ever been told is that all things popcorn is SUPER messy and they left absolutely no mess. They did a great job prepping, spraying, and cleaning up. R & D Painting is one of the most professional businesses my wife & I have ever had the pleasure to use! Travis Robeson is very generous and courteous in giving his time and expertise in answering any questions or concerns you may have. His crews worked quickly and efficiently the entire time they were painting our home's exterior, staining our deck posts, or doing any minor, weather related touchups. Other individuals in his team, who replaced our old gutters and downspouts and changed out our old front columns with PVC, were also exceptionally skilled. HIGHLY recommend!

We couldn't be happier with our recent experience with R&D. We had them do both exterior and interior painting, which included some significant trim, fascia, and water-damage repair. From start to finish, Travis was super helpful and always available, answering any and all questions or concerns that we had. The workmanship and professionalism of his crews - including carpenters and painters - were top notch, and they were always cordial and good-natured. I had R & D paint my exterior & interior less than a year ago. They also repaired my deck at that time. Travis uses excellent paint. They do a fantastic job. If you are looking for "cheap" this is not the place to go - they are top notch & you get what you pay for. He guarantees his work & is insured. I will always use them - he is easy to work with. We recently used Travis and his team (R&D Painting) to paint the exterior of our home and were so happy we immediately scheduled some inside work too. There is so much I appreciated about working with Travis. One, when you e-mail/text/call him, Travis always responds and usually within a few minutes – not hours or days! Two, Travis is one-stop shopping for your painting project. I didn't have to hire a pressure washer, I didn't have to hire a repair guy, I didn’t have to buy any supplies. All I had to do was pick the colors and write one check at the end. Boom – that’s my kind of home improvement
