We had Up North Fireplace help us with our fireplace for our new build. We had no idea where or how to even start, Greg and Jackie were so helpful and knowledgeable about what we needed to complete our project making it seem easy. They went above and beyond! It turned out even better than we could have hoped! I would highly recommend using them!

The woman on the phone seemed like I was inconveniencing her. All I asked for was someone to come out and let us know where a good place would be to place a free standing woodstove for supplemental heat she seemed to not want to have anything to do with that and that is really disturbing to me.
Update, still waiting on a call back.....
Update: Greg came out and gave very good advice as to what would work for us. Unfortunately we had to put that project off due to an immediate septic system issue

Excellent service! Had them out to service a Tiara 1 fireplace. I thought there was something wrong with the flame adjustment turned out to be a cracked burner. I had bought the stove through a dealer in the cities before I moved up here so I needed to order the replacement part through them for warranty issues. After receiving the part I called Up North again to schedule another service call, they were out within a week! In the end the stove works perfectly, they were here twice and charged me for only one service call! Both Jackie in the office and Kevin the service tech did an excellent job

Highly recommend them. Called Jackie this morning to troubleshoot starting my fireplace after not being run since winter. Needed to have it running for home inspection for buyers. Jackie, managed to get me a tech out to reset the fireplace today, even though they are very busy right now. Thank you VERY much!!!

Went there looking for a fireplace insert. They wouldn't listen to me. I constantly had to repeat what I was looking for. They kept on insisting on trying to sell me something completely different. They were very rude. No smiles/laughs and kept trying to belittle me. I will be giving my business to a twin cities company that listened to what I was looking for.

From the moment I called this company I received the most wonderful service! Jackie in the office gave me so much of her time as I explained the issues we were having with our fireplace. She set up a service appointment with Kevin who diagnosed and fixed the fireplace in a timely and professional manner. They are very nice people and we highly recommend them!!

We wish we would have never bought out fireplace from this store. We ordered our fireplace and when we went to pick it up on Friday at 4:00 PM, and that is when there true colors come out. First we find out they won't take a credit card, so we had to write a check. We asked them to hold the check till Monday because we had to make sure we had enough in the checkbook, and they said they would. After we paid them he took me in the back to show me that they damaged the outside of our fireplace with a fork lift and that he taped it back together upon the company instructions. Funny thing was the box
