Our family's experience in the restoration and cleaning industry began with Michael Bowerman, Sr. In the early '70s he successfully operated a steam carpet cleaning business and managed a dry cleaning store in New Rochelle, NY.
Michael Sr. went on to establish his own company, Bowerman Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning. Not only did he specialize in caring for carpets, oriental rugs, and upholstery, he broadened the company to offer emergency water extraction. Thus began our family's respected reputation and loyal following of customers, most of whom still use our services today.

Father and son worked together to solidify our reputation as a quality company that provides exemplary work and ideal customer service. Michael Jr. continued to work with his father while attending college.

Terrible mess after a flood! Everyone was patient, kind, and very professional, from the project manager Rodrigo, to the men who did the clean-up and re-installation of the carpets - Diego, Jonathan, and Ricardo - very nice, explained everything, and did a wonderful job. The carpets look amazing. Also, whenever I had to call the company or contact Rodrigo, there was never a long wait and they were very courteous.

Adrian and his team came in and professionally cleaned my basement after some water damage from a storm. Adrian was clear and concise about the tasks that would be performed and very responsive to all my questions, especially since this was the first time that something like this had happened to me. The team did an excellent job that I was very satisfied with.

During storm Ida in September 2021 I had 1.5 - 3 feet of water in different rooms in my basement. Bowerman did a great job removing water, removing damaged sheet rock, removing damaged insulation and preventing mold from forming. Bowerman then successfully dried the entire basement. I am looking forward to Bowerman helping with the restoration. The manager of my job, Chris, was very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs I give Bowerman a five star review.

Highly recommend!!! Honest, professional, with amazing customer service and great attention to detail. My elderly dad’s house had flood damage and mold from the remnants of Hurricane Ida and Bowerman came and did an fantastic job mitigating the damage. They clearly explained the entire process from start to finish. I live out of state yet they worked with me every step of the way to ensure my dad’s repairs were done properly. They totally put my mind at ease and I can’t say enough about how they treated my dad. Fair pricing at a time when the opportunity to have taken advantage and price

I called Bowerman as our home started to flood to get on their waitlist. No one ever called back, which is fine. But they apparently sold my and my husband’s phone numbers because we have received multiple calls from public adjusters saying they “got our information from Bowerman” and trying to sell us services. Pretty despicable. At least ask first.

The Bowerman crew was very professional and answered all our questions. They gave us tips to help remediate future flooding from storms. This is the second time we have had to use Bowerman, and we were very pleased with the service they provided. Just hope I don't need them again.
