Our initial business was founded in Arlington, Virginia, in the mid-1970s. We have been moving families and businesses like yours around the corner, across town, and across the country for more than 30 years! Specializing in the moving of fine furniture, we handle both residential and business moves.
Having assisted small to large companies here in the Charleston area we are confident that we can assist you in a smooth transition to your new location. We realize the most important aspect of your move is limiting the "down-time" with a move. We can help put together a plan that will get you up and running in your new office as quickly as possible.
1. Do you have a minimum? No. We do not, you pay for the first hour of the move in full and every hour after that is prorated to the next 15 minutes. So you only pay for the time you need us. 3. What is travel time? We calculate travel time as the time it takes our crew to get to your home from our office and the time back after we have completed your move.

I wish I could give 0 stars. We hired Plantation Moving for a small move from Charleston, SC to Johnson City, TN. I was in Charleston packing up when I became very ill and had to have emergency surgery. My husband and son handled all the moving activities while I was in the hospital. The pick-up was supposed to occur on 8/26/21 and the delivery to Johnson City the next day. My son had to leave on the pickup day to get to Johnson City for the delivery. However they were a day late delivering without any notice. They shoved everything (still in blankets and shrink wrap) in one of our 2

Jessiica and her team put my worries to rest by making my move out, storage, and move into my new home a breeze. Their work was caring and efficient. I knew from the outset I was in good hands. The entire moving experience was 100% positive! Jessica, the owner, went out of her way to provide information and guidance. Additionally, she personally arranged the out-of-state shipment of our car. Her staff were friendly, professional, experienced and capable in every aspect! These guys were great and helped us out of a jam. I work for a different (not local at all) moving company, and we were transferring out of one semi trailer into another one. The company we tried to use first left in the middle of the job, Plantation came in last minute and saved the day. The 2 movers that arrived were more professional and courteous and got more done than 8 people out of the first company. If we are ever in the area and need good quality labor on a move I would not hesitate giving them a call.

I contacted Plantation moving to get a quote for a local move. From the start I could tell they were professional and I appreciated the owner took the time to come and give me a quote in person.
The day of our move could not have gone better. The team called ahead of time, arrived when they said they would and got to work very quickly. I could not believe the speed thy went at and how efficient they worked. Our items arrived at our new home in perfect condition. I have moved many times in my life and this was by far my best experience!

I couldn't recommend better service! Jessica, the owner, was a delight to work with through my moving experience. Even when I had to push back my original move date, Jessica was on the same page with me all throughout and made it effortlessly simple. The moving crew, Tony, Nate, and Mo, were also great. Jessica and the plantation crew were true professionals. I had a complicated move with stuff being moved from various locations. The team showed up on time and got it done. They broke down my furniture and reassembled at my new house. All of my stuff was accounted for and nothing was damaged. The crew cleaned up after themselves and left no trash behind. I would use them again, and would highly recommend!
