Our company founder, Adam Kadisak, educated himself at the University of Minnesota, where he majored in Environmental Science. We have worked as subcontractors for many companies in the twin cities. In time, We realized that many employees are uneducated in the tree care industry. Since then, we have made it our mission to become leaders in tree rejuvination techniques and maintenance.
Emerald Ash Borer is a big problem in the Metro area. If you wish to inject your trees, we offer 2 year systemic treatments. First time customers receive discounted pricing! We also treat Apple Scab, Dutch Elm Disease (DED), Oak Wilt, Bur Oak Blight (BOB), Japanese Beetle, Forest Tent Caterpillar, Aphids, Pine Sawflies, Pine Beetle, Spruce Budworm, Two Lined Chestnut Borer, Elm Bark Beetle, Bronze Birch Borer, and More.
Construction stresses trees. It compacts soils, limiting water availability and root space. It also often means excavating near trees, damaging the root system. If you wish to give your tree the highest chance of survival, plant growth regulators can be used. These hormones reduce the energy being exerted toward new growth and diverts it underground where the roots can use the energy to regenerate.
The city is a TOUGH place for a tree to grow up. The soil is often alkaline, this means there are salts and other basic ions in the soil that halt nutrient movement into trees. We at Universitree LLC are determined to find out what is limiting your tree's growth. By collecting soil samples and working with the University of Minnesota soil lab, we can determine your soil's health and find an economical treatment that fits your budget.

Called to set up an estimate to remove part of a tree on my house after a big storm. No showed on the first appointment. Called and they said they'd figure out what happen and get back to me. They didn't call back. Called again the next morning and they told me they were "sorry" but they had double booked my appointment time by mistake. Sure, that can happen, but then when I asked them to confirm my address to set up a new appointment, it quickly became clear that they didn't have the right address. Perhaps they showed up at the wrong address, saw no tree problems, and moved along. Frustrating

Universitree exceeded my expectations. I hired them to come out and trim my mature Oak, Elm, and Ash trees. As well as remove several mature trees on a steep hill side to open up my view of the river valley. I was having a very tough time deciding how to have the trees trimmed. There is so much to consider between what is cosmetically pleasing but also safe and healthy for the mature trees. Adam spent the time and gave me his professional advice on how to form the trees canopy without sacrificing its health. Let me tell you, it turned out better then I imagined! Do not sacrifice your beautiful

Universitree took down three huge (55-feet each) red pine trees from the front of our lawn. A difficult job, but they performed quickly and professionally - including a nice clean-up and removal of all debris. AND they charged us less than they estimated. Very pleased and highly recommend.

We had two large trees taken out very close to it house. Adam and his team came when they said they would, and called before hand to keep us informed about the visit. The job was tidy and professional, listening to what we wanted to achieve. They are friendly and it was a good price compared to others. What more can you want. We will definitely use Universitree again.

They do a great job and are very respectful to our property cleaning up afterwards. Had some trees removed prior to using this company and they just left debris everywhere. Universitree cleaned this up for me. Very professional and is the only service I will ever use in the future.

We contacted Adam from Universitree to remove a large dead tree from our woods. We weren't home when they came out to do the work, and when we did get back, the dead tree was gone and everything was cleaned up so perfectly, it would have been hard to tell they were ever there (except for the missing dead tree). Wonderful cleanup! We would highly recommend them!

Adam and his team were fantastic! We live in Eden Prairie, received 3 separate tree removal bids and Universitree was 30% less than the other two bids. The team arrived on time, took down a huge cottonwood in our backyard that wrapped around low hanging power lines and dripped into a busy neighborhood cross street. So impressed by the quick work the 3-person team made of the tree. They came at 9am and left by 4pm. What surprised me the most was the extent they went to make sure everything was cleaned up - leaf blowers, rakes, you name it, no one would have suspected a tree was just taken down!

Adam with Universitree was fantastic. He and his crew crew member were able to take down a troublesome limb of a silver maple. They were able to drop the each piece with out hitting my gardens (I was impressed!) and they took great care to clean up afterwards. Super professional, great rates, and he was able to answer all our questions. I highly recommend him and his crew for any tree work you need done.
