With both interior and exterior intricate wood details, this Northwest Craftsman brings the outdoors in with natural light streaming in from many large windows and doors. At the entry, the use of round classic exterior columns give it a postmodern look. The home's interior finishes complement the natural beauty of the Northwest.

Built on the rolling hills of the Sammamish Valley is Washington Cathedral. Inspired by the architecture of country churches, its glass steeple and postmodern sanctuary welcome all. As sunshine pours in through the soaring glass steeple, the sheer quantity of blue sky inspires awe. This commercial tenant improvement and restoration project is a prime example of our expertise in this area.

We took a 1926 Marina Park warehouse-turned-commercial-space and turned it into a modern waterfront retail space in downtown Kirkland. This award-winning timber lodge-style home was influenced by Fleur du Lac, the 1938 Lake Tahoe estate of American industrialist Henry J. Kaiser.

The Mediterranean architectural style is a combination of ideas that evolved from many periods and many regions of the world. Influences from Italy, Spain, and a variety of other countries can be found in this staple of architectural style, popular since the early 1900s. This Mediterranean-style home's exterior offers a unique look with brick and stucco that is painted a lighter color to contrast with the home's roof.
This was truly a top-to-bottom addition/remodel renovation. The front elevation underwent extensive changes, adding dormers, a trellis at the garage, a new front entry and an outdoor room. Inside, every room was either added to or upgraded. We created a new master suite over the garage, and the kitchen underwent a complete renovation.

Don Wolter designed my plan 14 years ago. We built it in three stages and finally finished. The plans were excellent and they managed our permits for the first 3 years with flawless execution. The first phase is still excellent so many years later. He hooked us up with a builder who met our needs. I did the second and third stages myself and had no issues with the plans.

Don was easy to work with and got my residential project done in reasonable time and at a reasonable cost. He had great ideas and was able to work out solutions for some tricky requirements. I was tempted to subtract one star because the engineer he used over-sized the foundation, but that wasn't really Don's fault. I would use him again.
