Returned home from vacation to find our heater wasn't working. Dana at Economy was able to schedule us first thing the next morning, which was Christmas Eve. However, there was a schedule change on their end and because of the holiday, they were able to have someone come out right away. We will need further service, but Anthony was able to patch our heater to get us through the holiday. Not only fast service, but a genuine concern that helped save our vacation and our holiday!

I selected Economy based on recommendations on the South Philadelphia community web site. And they deserved all the praise I had read. Appt was scheduled for same day I called for one, I was given a time frame for their arrival, and at the scheduled time...they were there. They had to try several methods to clear the drain, but they did it and they even cleaned up the residue. Price was good, service was terrific. Highly recommended.

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing!! My basement started to leak with sewage. I've called multiple plumbers and some no showed, one said he couldn't do and one quoted me a ridiculous amount of money. I texted the owner and within 1 hour someone was at the house and problem fixed 1 hour after that. Techs were great, explained everything and knew exactly what they were talking about. We called for an emergency issue and April stated she would call us back with a meeting for an estimate. We called twice and again she stated we would get back to us. Three days later , two gentlemen come by the house (one in slippers) to give us an estimate. Very unprofessional. If I'm willing to spend 5k on a job, I would at least hope I'd get a call back on time alongside someone with some sort of etiquette as far as uniform. Would not recommend to anyone.

Travis and his guys at Economy Plumbing were great! I realize my hot water heater was leaking water on a late Friday afternoon in my finished basement and was ready go at any point, which could of been 40 gallons of water taking over my basement floor. Within 1 hour of calling, Anthony was sent out to my house to see what was going on... less then 24 hours later Anthony and Phil were back bright and early to install a brand new hot water heater.

Won't be calling them again. The work they do is good but the prices are insane! Went I called and made the appointment. I told them what was wrong and what needed to be done. They said $185 for snaking and $350 for hydrojetting. When the work was done, I was charged $450... on top of that the tech said I can use a credit card for the payment and with taxes it was $463.50. He never said there was a 3% charge ($13.50) for using a credit card. I told him that I can pay by check to and I would have if I knew there was a charge for that!! We woke up to water in basement and they had Anthony out to visit us within a few hours. He took the time to show us exactly what was wrong (cracked drain) and how he planned to fix it.
