Joseph P. Miller is past president of Miller Fence Company Inc, which has been in business since 1967. He is a graduate of Worcester Junior College and received his Bachelor's degree in Economics at McPherson College, Kansas. Shortly after college, he joined the United States Navy and served from 1970 to 1973.
For centuries, people have used wood for their fencing needs. It's one of the most customizable materials, comes in many species, and different heights and styles. Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, will depend on which species you choose. If you have a ranch on many acres with horses and other animals, West Virginia split rail (mixed hardwood of locust and oak) may be the best choice.
Allegheny fence panels can be easily installed outdoors much like you would a conventional wood or vinyl fence. Simulated stone panels are all virtually maintenance free and can be cleaned quickly with soap and water. Using industrial strength rivets, the constructed panels have the solid look and feel of authentic ornamental iron.
Known for its strength and durability, chain-link is perhaps the most economical type of fencing available to enclose a very large or small area for your pets and kids. When going against the woods or shrubbery black chain link will almost disappear but still have the boundary. You can also add privacy slats or windscreen to add more privacy.

Joe was the hardest working person I have ever seen. In addition, he was responsive and informative - never seeming bothered by our questions. Ross worked alongside him and also did a great job. HUGE thank you for Miller Fence for getting our residential fence installed. Now my dogs can have backyard zoomies without running into the woods! Excellent quality and very professional team from the owner to the crew on site- Brenden & Jay- thanks guys! We chose a 6’ aluminum fence in between our house and garage and black chain link for the backside. The install took 3 days and we had 2 consult visits for measuring. This year we have been working on a complete backyard remodel. I have had 9 contractors work on the property so far( pool installer, pool heat pump company, metal fence company, retaining wall, patio paver, irrigation, landscaper/ trencher, electrician, and miller fence).
Out of all of them Miller fence was the only one that:
Sales rep did not respond to my emails

Brady, Ryan, & Ross installed my white vinyl fence today. Not only did they do an excellent job, but they cleaned up well also 😁. They were all professional and personable. They also took the time to try to get the bottom as close as possible to flush with the ground while still making it look as level as possible on top. Highly recommend Miller fence & these guys.

Storm brought down a limb that took out a section of our fence. It was hard to get other fence companies around even estimate the repair. Miller did the original fence and it's held up & looked great for 6+ years. The process for getting an estimate, scheduling, and payment was simple and very well done. Quality of work was great - I simply can't even tell any damage happened to the fence after their repairs, and it was done on time with no issues.
A side tip: For those looking at a fence be mindful that Miller, as well as other fence companies I called are booking out far in advance

We were looking to add vinyl privacy fencing to our yard, but had concerns regarding the fact that we live on a high water table. Kim is incredibly knowledgeable on anything and everything fence-related and was able to find a solution that addressed our concerns. We had strong wind and thunderstorms last night and there was no shaking or movement. The products used are high quality and made to last. I had Miller fence completely do all around my property. This was in February! I didn't think it was possible but the whole crew showed up on a Wednesday and spent 5 days jackhammering everything in. The crew was amazing and professional the pretty large job was done in only a couple days everything solid as a rock and straight as an arrow. Unbelievable how incredible a job they did we are very happy.

After a long awaited install date (due to my own inability to communicate and the snowy winter), our fence finally arrived and was installed over three days of pelting rain and less than ideal temperatures. Ed and Elijah were wonderful, friendly and tireless! Our landscape is rocky and hilly but they both tackled it with great success. On some of the sloping landscape they even made a mini stone wall to ensure that no dogs could squeeze under and I found that very considerate of them. They finished up the job while I was away at work, so I never got to thank them personally, so I hope they read

Can't believe I've waited this long to post my review! Our fence was installed last year around this time. We never thought a fence was possible given our uneven terrain but, I have a "problem child" dog and it became a necessity. Every step of the process was easy and professional with Miller Fence, from our first meeting with Kim, through the installation and now our first repair. We get so many compliments on it and I'm sure will enjoy it for years to come.

The fence looks great but it was a hassle to deal with this company. They have no communication between the office and the workers who actually show up. I had a 6 foot white PVC fence installed on a large yard. It was an expensive job. There was a portion that had to be a custom installation because of protruding tree roots. Unfortunately, the guys who came to do the installation did not know anything about the custom work. They didn't speak English so I couldn't explain what needed to be done. Last week we had a new fence installed by Miller Fence, the entire team from the office to the crew doing the installation were fabulous. Our youngest child has many challenges that made it necessary for us to provide her with a safe and spacious play area and the understanding of our needs and ability to adapt to what we envisioned was exceptional. Professional Friendly service! Our fence which is both chainlink and vinyl has been wonderful for years, it recently needed repair after a huge wind storm. Miller was here in 1/2 hour to assess the damage and right back the next day to repair. Im please my dogs once again have a safe yard to play in.
