Fence Menders is well known for its pre-established metal, PVC and wood fencing; however, we also specialize in customized fencing and gates to meet your every need.
Northern White Cedar is the wood of choice for building strong, long-lasting fences in our tough New England climate. Cedar is light, strong, aesthetically pleasing and indigenous to our region. It is insect resistant, has an amazing in-ground life and is ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY. It requires NO pressure treatment.
Our "GOOD NEIGHBOR" board and lattice panels are designed using 4' of Red Cedar Tongue & Groove Boards with 2' of Diagonal Red Cedar Lattice. The advantage to the "Good Neighbor" panels is that they look the same from both sides eliminating a "good side" or a "bad side" decision that often accompanies the purchase of a more traditional Stockade Fence.
Paxton Spaced Board Panels are straight panels made up of either #1 or #2 Cedar Boards that are 1" thick x 4" wide and are nailed to 2" x 3" baker rails. The options for the tops of the posts are either Gothic top, Beveled top or left blank and add a pyramid cap. Princeton Spaced Cedar are scalloped topped panels made up of either #1 or #2 Cedar Boards.
West Virgina Post and Rail provides the most rustic, rugged, long lasting and least expensive of all the post and rail alternatives. The rails are 11' long consisting of West Virgina mixed hardwoods while the posts are Black Locust. It is available in 2 rail or 3 rail sections. Round Cedar Doweled Post & Rail is made up of full round white cedar log stock.
