A Title V Inspection, otherwise known as a Title V Septic test is performed in Massachusetts by a certified Title V Inspector. This specific test is used to determine and document the current condition of your septic system. An at-home septic system has to pass a title V inspection if you are attempting to sell your home.
Excavation Plus has the capabilities and the experience to perform highly adequate percolation testing. A percolation test is used to determine the water absorption rate of the soil. When you perform a percolation (perc test) the results of it are required to properly design your own septic system or leach field.
After living in a home for many years you might discover that you are having a problem with your septic system, or if you are selling your property and fail your Title V inspection (link to Title V page). With repairing a septic system, there are a few common issues as to why it may fail. One issue could be regarding the septic pump.
When you're building a new home, your property will require a septic system if your town does not have a sanitary sewer line. The purpose of having a septic system is to distinguish and separate the solids from the wastewater, and store what's needed of the solid matter, and then decompose the rest.
