The following is a set of instructions on how to keep your new pool safe and clean for years to come. Use AquaChek Test Strips or drop test kit like a Pentair HR78 test kit to check and maintain your pool chemicals. Keep your pH levels at 7.4 - 7.6. Empty the skimmer baskets, clean tile or pool water at the waterline with pool surface cleaner, and skim leaves, insects and other floating debris from the pool surface.

Pool Concepts team was very professional from start to finish. They were very accommodating especially when it came to the design in the outer area of the pool. They provided us with different options which were all very good. Anytime we had questions they would respond quickly. Every step of the construction was on schedule. The different teams on every aspect of my pool construction were very professional. We have gotten so many compliments on the pool design and construction. They used the wrong flagstone. I guess it was cheaper for them to cut corners. My neighbor also had the flagstone and it peeled from the 3rd week and is still peeling today. After the construction was done I never heard from them again other than requests to repair the filters which were also of bad quality. Please do not use this pool company if you value your money. From the start it was a shady experience. Oh, and when your pool is finished, they offer a pool school that was absolutely a joke. Good luck getting them to schedule any appointments on the weekend too.

Pool Concepts was our first ever experience for a major home improvement. The design and sales processes were smooth, and it was easy to connect with their team members. What can I say? I did not want to resort to this bad review, but after 7 months and 24 days our pool is still not completed. They did finally get the pool partially operable a month ago, which we greatly appreciate. However, I have not seen any of Pool Concepts employees or contractors since. Yes, in the beginning COVID set back some of the items needed for pool. However, the real reason of the delays is Pool Concepts took advantage of the onslaught of families wanting a pool this year. Their lack of respect for customer satisfaction and response to calls, text, emails or any other forms of communication

We called the office and were told the estimator was on vacation someone would call us back in a few days. Over a week went by and we didn’t hear back from anyone so we called back and were told oh sorry no one has called you but you aren’t in our service area. A pool company out of Helotes who won’t come to Boerne to build a pool when it says on their site they have built pools in Boerne. Not a good experience in communication we could of been told this on the original call instead we are over a week further behind in our search to build our pool now! Thanks Pool Concepts!

So I would love to give 5 stars but unfortunately I have been building my pool for the last 6 months and we have been sitting at gunite since February. I was initially scared to leave a review since my pool is not completed but I'm frustrated due to the lack of communication with the superintendent Joe. The building process has been great up until now. The plans were done perfectly but here we sit waiting! I was told it would be done by April, then May and here is June! Crazy thing is we started this process in December! I know we have had tons of rain and even snow but it is super frustrating

This is our first pool build so we have no comparison but if I ever have another one to build, I will not go back to these people. The only person who we thought did a decent job was the salesman - of course why we got sold on the project. The project communication was the WORST! I wanted to give them time and patience before leaving this review but my patience has run out completely. No one calls us back for any issue we call in for. Working with Pool Concepts as our pool contractor was not a great experience, they started off strong and certainly gained our interest. The biggest issue was the lack of communication within the company and the contractor (Foreman). Weekly updates were promised to us at the beginning of the project, however we had to reach out to them weekly for updated status, normally taking 2 to 3 days to reply. The original pool layout was wrong, they dug the layout in the wrong position in our backyard. We were compensated for the mistake but again due to the lack of communication the contractors were unaware

I was extremely happy that I selected Pool Concepts over four other pool construction companies. The professionalism and punctuality of their crews, and the responsiveness and professionalism shown by their project manager and the workers was exceptional. It was readily apparent that every crew member not only knew their job, but also took a great deal of pride in delivering a high quality product. Whoa! This company makes a good pool but watch out after you make your final payment. Don't pay it off until they complete the punchout list (final tasks for them). I have never seen a turncoat in my life and took 2 months of my begging for them to complete.

First of all, let me say that our experience with Pool Concepts was absolutely fantastic! We did a lot of research on pool companies before we got started and ultimately, wisely chose Pool Concepts. From the very first day when we were getting quotes, Jason came out to our home and and started working on a design, with our budget in mind. They did a great job but did not manage expectations, schedules, and timelines. 30 percent behind schedule, still waiting for material to be returned weeks after the job was completed. And if you want an LED light, please confirm all of their options. We asked to replace ours so we could change the light automatically. They replaced the light and told us to go click the module back and forth in the service area until we get the color we want. Lol.

Pool Concepts was amazing. I've worked Air Force construction for over 20 years so know the difference. Did a ton of research and received full designs from San Antonio's Big 4 pool contractors. Pool Concepts had the best design, most competitive pricing and an outstanding construction crew that was responsive throughout the entire process.
