Services
We provide full moving services at all-inclusive rates for any relocation within the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area. We also provide moving services in surrounding areas. For all of our local moves, our professional movers will promptly arrive at your origin address at the scheduled time.
Items are carefully loaded onto the truck, unloaded at destination, placed in designated rooms at the discretion of the customer. Large items are broken down prior to loading onto the truck and then reassembled in designated areas at unload. Items are wrapped, padded and strategically packed onto the truck to avoid shifting during transport.
Although we can provide a relatively accurate estimate after some discussion with the customer over the phone or email, we are also happy provide a free in-person estimate at your home. In-home estimates are mostly complete for long distance or interstate; however, accommodations can be made for customers that are interested in an in-home estimate for their local or larger move.

This is my third time hiring JSIII Moving Services and they are just as incredible as the first time 6 years ago. James, the owner, was able to accommodate my needs on very short notice and worked incredibly efficiently with his team. They take the utmost care in handling our items and charge a very reasonable rate. Don't think twice about hiring these guys for your next move, big or small!

Update from June 2021: We used JSIII for the third or fourth time today and they were exceptional as always. Careful with all of our things, extremely fast, and never once complained that they had to climb 4 flights of stairs to move all of our furniture. They were so nice and the price was so much better than what we’re able to find at most moving companies. We will continue to use them and promote them to all of our friends and family.

So JS3 Moving was referred to us from our friend and neighbors who had use them 3 times. So two years ago when we moved from Kensington MD to Lewes Delaware we decide to try them, they to very good care in packing is up and unpacking the larger items (in the rooms we wanted them in!). So today they helped a friend of mine move items from a storage unit to his first apartment in 2 years because he was homeless. He had fallen on his luck with his health and mental abilities and he is almost back to himself but would not have been able to do this himself nor with me since I just had had surgery. James

Love this service, really wanted to support a local business along with a black owned. Very good pricing, open communication, they were running late and even let me know beforehand of the situation and offered an extra mover as a result. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.
