We clean roofs, decks, patios and gutters to remove damaging moss, algae, lichens and fungus. This is done by safely low-pressure washing (power washing.) We treat ceadar shake roofs to replace natural oils.
Our roof cleaner can also perform minor gutter repair. We insulate attics, walls and crawl spaces and for energy savings. Sometimes insulation needs to be removed due to rodent (rats) or water damage. Additionally, due to the increase of mold in Seattle homes, we have added mold prevention and remediation to our services.We aim to make your home comfortable for you to live in.

I was won over when the estimate I received was more thorough and thoughtful than the estimates I got from competitors.
In addition to air sealing my attic, insulating skylight shafts, and adding an appropriate amount of blown-in insulation (which was sadly lacking prior to this job), MHS added roof jack vents and soffit vents, since those too were lacking, leaving ventilation in my attic far below recommended levels. They also fixed a missing screen on a gable vent and provided one more soffit vent than I was quoted for, at no addition charge.
The crew did excellent work, were on-time, friendly

The estimation and scheduling process was top notch -- they were very knowledgeable and friendly and I felt like I was getting solid advice. For the actual work, I had to ask for at least of the things on the estimate to actually be done, and it was done hastily and in my opinion poorly because at that point it felt like they were in a hurry to leave. I also had to ask them to weather strip in more than one place that was skipped. This is the gold standard for contractors. When they first came out, the insulation inspection was thorough and professional. It took a few days to get the bid, but it was well worth waiting for! They had looked for every rebate that we qualified for, and their bid was less (out of our pocket) than anyone else we had received bids from because of it. After we told them we would like to use their services, they even found us an additional $250 in rebates! During installation, they were here for almost 5 hours making sure that they had completed all of the tasks on a very thorough bid and cleaned

Highly recommend Madrona for insulation and home services work. We bid this job out against other competitors and Rory/Debbie were by far a cut above the rest. Their team showed up and worked diligently to insulate our entire house. From the outside it's impossible to tell where they penetrated the siding of the house to insulate exterior walls. And from the inside they very professionally cleaned up after themselves and patched small holes in the wall where they penetrated to insulate. If we have any other needs, we will definitely be coming back!

Debbie and Rory are the best! They went above and beyond to make sure we got a thorough estimate, a detailed understanding of the work our house needed (regardless of which parts we chose to do), and worked to get us on the schedule a time convenient for us. Their whole team insulated all the exterior walls of our home in less than 5 hours. When they were done, they only way you could tell they were there was by the immediate positive change in temperature inside the house. Goodbye high heating and cooling bills!
