Postin' cause he ghostin'
We used Blue Sky for a previous tree removal a couple years ago. We felt we knew Jason and trusted his team to take care of a dying tree in our yard. He came by to give a quote, sent a quote for the work, we accepted his quote, and then that was the last time we heard from him.
7-10 days later we emailed asking if there was anything Jason needed from us with no response. A week later, a large branch fell from the dying tree and we called PGE to ask about removing some of the branches hanging over powerlines. They said that PGE would need to coordinate with our arborist

I was quoted and told they could fit us in a month later. Two days before I messaged to see if they were still coming since it had been a month. Jason said it wasn't possible and we'd need to reschedule. Never heard back again to setup a date even after I had reached out.

Our neighbors hired this company today and every neighbor on every side of her is FURIOUS. They were hired to remove all but one tree and shrub in the neighbor's yard. Instead they were gone by noon after only removing one beautiful healthy oak and a dead cherry. They left a 6' stump from the oak and every neighbor's yard has debris and branches all over it. Our neighbor on the other side just had two giant trees removed using a different company and the men were so thoughtful and communicative about their process, they used a blower to clean our yard afterward and spent almost the entire day making

I can't possibly recommend Jason enough! He and his team removed a large tree from our backyard, facilitated the permit, and also grinded down the stump and exposed roots. The area looks perfect now, and the work was done on schedule, professionally, and with great care at a fair price. Jason was responsive, courteous and clearly an expert in his field. I got multiple quotes for this job, but I'll skip the others and go straight to Jason next time I need similar work done.

We hired Jason and his team to take down our huge Doug Fir. They did an amazing job. Jason's assessment of the job site was very detailed and he took great care in protecting our patio and other structures on the site. These guys worked very hard and the tree came down without any issue or damage to surroundings. The yard was clean of wood and debris at the end of the job. Thank you Jason and crew!

My wife and I had Blue Sky Tree Service come out to our S.E. Portland home, and remove a 120 foot high Douglas Fir tree, that was leaning far to the north under the weight of 5 large limbs that had turned up starting at the 50 ft. level, each another 60-70 ft. They were amazing and did it in record time. We highly recommend this company.

Jason and his team were fantastic. The bid was great. He adhered to all my special requests, which I had many. It was amazing watching him and his team work. My neighbors were all watching and photographing the events. We had people driving by and slowing down to watch the show. The had a small area to work with on a busy road and they executed taking down an 80 foot tree with ease. I have already recommended Blue Sky Tree Care to my neighbor who had asked. I will use them again when we have any further work.
