These guys are AMAZING!!! I've had to call them twice in emergency situations and both times were at my door in an hour. Miguel came to fix a toilet leak on New Year's Eve at 5pm. Wasn't able to fix it, and showed up this morning, (New Year's day!) with a brand new toilet! Alex came to fix a broken pipe and while he was here replaced a piece on my toilet for me and fixed a leak on my garbage disposal as well. Gary and his crew are extremely professional, know what they're doing and are very reasonably priced! I'm so grateful for these guys!!!

Gary Costello answered when I called yesterday evening for a clogged kitchen sink , gave me an appointment for early next day 9-11am, he arrived wearing a mask & shoe coverings, which was appreciated. He brought his snake machine through backyard to the clean out & ran it 50 ft, 2 x said the clog was at 35 ft. Explained everything , charged $225 less 10% for a total of $202, (the most I've ever paid for this) , he also shared recommendations to help keep pipes clean longer , a biodegradable substance which I immediately ordered on Amazon, he hosed down & cleaned area. We hired Costellos for a plumbing job. We contacted Gary for an initial assessment. It was Miguel who showed up the next day for an inspection. He was very knowledgeable and didn't even charge for his visit. After speaking with few other plumbing companies , we fet to go ahead with Costellos as Miguel made an impression on us in terms of knowledge and honesty. We specifically asked for Miguel, Gary was very accommodating and sent him on his earliest availability. Miguel did a great job fixing our problem . I've used Costello 4 times now, (Snaking drains, fixing toilet, replacing gas valve for new oven). They communicate very well and will text for appointments (wish I love!) They are reliable, kind and know what they are doing. Their pricing is very fair and competitive with pricing in SF and will give you a fair estimate on the project ahead of time!

Thank you Costello Plumbing for being so responsive. I needed the backyard hose valve replaced and you came the next day. The plumber, Miguel, was professional and explained everything he was doing along the way. The repair took less than 45 minutes which was great.

I found this company after 8 pm after on outdoor pipe burst and I had to turn the water off to the house. They called me back before 11 pm and showed up at my home by 9 am It was a big job, completed beautifully. I am grateful. The water is back on in no time really. Gary was so easy to work with -- he set up a sewer lateral inspection with us and worked around the schedule of the sanitary district inspector to get it done very quickly to help us move forward on a home inspection. Not only that but he showed up early and was all set up for the inspection by the time the inspector arrived on site. It was quick, painless, and his quoted price was comparable to other contractors in the area. We will be calling him back for plumbing repairs as soon as we close. Thank you, Gary!

Gary is a an expert plumber. Very knowledgeable and experienced. I can tell he has seen it all and knows how to fix anything. We originally contacted Gary to help us figure out if we should install a new hot water heater or go tankless. He explained the pros and cons very clearly and helped us make an informed decision.

One month later we were demoing concrete in our backyard and our main water line and sewer pipes were damaged. We called Gary and he came right away to start fixing the damage. Because our pipes were in such poor condition, we decided to replace all of them with new copper pipes

Gary redid the entire plumbing of my 1922 home, which was a mix of galvanized and old copper. He worked with us in terms of budget and timing the project with our travel needs. He was helpful, efficient, professional, honest and very easy to communicate with. Top quality work at a very reasonable price. I'm planning on working with him in the future.

Gary is responsive, extremely knowledgeable but most importantly HONEST. In 3 minutes, he fixed our issue that another plumber could not. The other plumber spent 2 hours trying and also quoted me almost $2K to fix it! We will be calling Gary from now on for all plumbing needs.

Called a few plumbers for prices, most were $200 and up just to look at our clogged tub. One guy tried to fix it but the tub required more work and I was quoted a high price so I declined. Saw Gary's ad on yelp had a few good reviews and for good reason. Gary was fast, polite, easy to communicate with and get in touch with, on top of being less expensive then competitors in the area. Hands down Costellos Plumbing was the best. Had a leaky shower and within minutes of emailing him, he responded. When he came over he assessed, presented options and was clear in all his explanations. I appreciated his efficiency and professionalism. He was very clear in what he was doing and made sure I understood all he was doing. I have for sure saved his number and he will be my go-to plumber.

I am not one to frequently write reviews. However my experience with Gary and Joseph of Costellos Plumbing was exceptional. These two worked relentlessly to solve our two persistently leaky vanity sinks/drains. On three separate occasions Gary and Joseph came out to our residence to address and re-address the same problem, each day professionally and courteously whittling away towards an ultimate solution. Today, for the first day, there is no evidence of a leak!

Thank goodness for Gary. We had a kitchen clog that backed up into our tub. Older home and multiple plumbing issues required immediate action. Gary was quick to respond and managed to resolve our clogged tub to satisfaction. We have a good working plan on replacing and upgrading our kitchen sink thanks to Gary. We are looking forward to having him put in our future sink and water filter.
