In 2002, Greg Hilliard had already been in the heating and air conditioning industry for over sixteen years. He could see there was a significant need for an integrity-based HVAC company in Twin Cities area. Together with his wife Nancy and a couple of close friends, they sat down at the family dining room table and started to "doodle."
Air Conditioners with Puron Refrigerant - Puron(R) Refrigerant is an environmentally sound refrigerant designed not to harm the earth's ozone layer. Federal law requires all manufacturers phase out ozone depleting refrigerants in the next few years. I received quote from owner that was much more reasonable than other quote I received. I was not upsold. I told them what I wanted and they quoted me. No pressure. Also, submitted a rebate on my behalf for CenterPoint. Installers were neat with their work and their job site.

Hilliard Heating & Cooling came out to fix an A/C unit I have at a home I rent out after being dispatched by American Home Shield. Another company had "supposedly" fixed the A/C a week prior and it only operated for a day and half. The other company refused to come fix their substandard work so Hilliard came in and save the day! They made the appointment quickly after accepting the service call from AHS. Nancy, who answers the phone was always on top of things and friendly. I had a very good experience with them and would highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about this company. 2 years ago I had one of their "neighborhood" competitors come out to fix the furnace in my garage. I was told it was shot and the chance of finding the part for it would be impossible. Of course they wanted me to buy a new one that day. Then I called Hilliard. Greg came out, had the part in his truck and for $ 128. I was good to go--and it still works!
Had Hilliards come out this fall for a furnace check in the garage and house. Greg found I had 4 big cracks in the heat exchanger in the house. I ended up getting a new furnace and AC from Hilliards

We’ve used Hilliard twice now. Their scheduler Nancy is extremely nice, efficient, and communicative. They are very prompt, and gave me an hour notice which helped limit my time off work. Both times the techs have been not only nice, but showed me what they were doing and how to avoid issues in the future, which technically takes business away from them but as a customer and new home owner is incredibly appreciative. They’re also fast, and have fixed the issue in about 20 minutes both times. I’d highly recommend, and plan on using only them moving forward

I purchased a new heating and cooling system from Hillard over 9 years ago and they have been great to work with. Nancy and Greg have always been very kind and prompt with their communication. Whenever we have had an issue with our heat, Greg has been able to diagnose and fix the problem. He knows what he is doing and is very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Hillard.

After a painful experience with HSA Home Warranty trying to get them to send someone who had actually worked on a heat pump before, I was more than ready to tear apart the technician who arrived from Hilliard. What an about-face! Doug was courteous, prompt, efficient, and solved the problem completely. More than that, he explained what he had done and what we should watch for in a kind and sympathetic way, so that we were totally satisfied, and happy, when he left. I can't imagine getting better service from anyone!

I was very impressed with the service I received from Hilliard Heating & Cooling. Very prompt, friendly, efficient service. I called Hilliard frantically after I arrived home and found out my furnace wasn't working. I received great friendly customer service over the phone and was assured someone would be out to look at my furnace within an hour. Greg was very knowledgeable and was quick and efficient in fixing the issue. He was also very informative and knowledgeable with all the questions I had. I will definitely be calling Hilliard Heating & Cooling again when any furnace/A.C. issues may arise

I have to go 5 stars on this one. I also had a American Home Shield claim. Greg and Nancy handled it very efficiently. The only out of pocket was for the refrigerant as per the policy. Greg was very knowledgeable, replaced my ACoil quickly and got me back up and running. He gave me some other advice for some related issues and I am following that up as well! I would highly recommend Greg to anyone looking for a quick and efficient repair.

Hilliard did a fantastic job replacing my furnace. They worked with my warranty company and got the claim taken care of. We received great customer service from Nancy and above all her compassion when she new we have a new born. They even offered to drop off some space heaters. Excellent service. Thank you
