We had a deadbolt installed by Lee's Lock and Safe in 7/2020, for a cost of about $150. On 1/3/2022, our key stuck in the lock and the cylinder came out. I phoned Lee's Lock and Safe and they came out and repaired it for $111. I was disappointed that this lock failed after being installed just a year and a half earlier. We haven't had any previous issues with our locks at this house for 18 years. Now, after a new lock was installed by Lee's Lock and Safe, it broke in after a year and a half. I don't think I should have been charged for the repair.

I had a sticking deadbolt on my front door that I have taken apart and lubricated over the years. It finally seemed like it was finished after 22 years of service. Jon came out and gave me some options and we decided to try his strike plate adjustment first before replacing the whole lock set. He modified the strike plate to relieve the pressure from the deadbolt and lubed the lock set. Everything is working a lot better and I know who I will call when I eventually have to replace the whole lock set.

No matter how good the reviews, a business is only as good as the people they employ and who represent them. Full marks for Lee's Lock & Safe's employee Jon, who is knowledgeable, professional and courteous. So refreshing to have someone show up right on time, follow up exactly when he says he will, and charge an honest price. Hat's off to Lee's Lock & Safe and Jon for fixing our busted 30 yr old door locks by finding and replacing parts rather than selling us completely new locks.
I would do all my key and lock service with Lee's from now on.

Lee's Locksmith dealt with a difficult personal situation involving elder abuse and claimed residency rights during the COVID-19 quarantine orders. While I was initially critical of some initial actions, Lee's showed up when needed during off-hours to resolve the situation. The situation showed why good judgment and accountability is important in a locksmith, along with the need to verify ownership, legal rights and follow the law. I am glad that a locally-based locksmith with a reputation to protect was available at a critical moment.

Dave from Lee's Lock & Safe is the BEST! Our pivot front door NEVER closed properly - until Dave! I initially called for a lock install but Dave discovered the lock I purchased online wasn't going to fit, so he was kind enough to show me a more solid alternative. He answered all my questions and was so enthusiastic about home safety & all the advancement made in the technology you could tell he loved and knew the industry well.
To top it all off, (without me ever mentioning anything about the issue), Dave casually let's me know he re-screwed a few latches & tightened

I'm giving this negative review solely based upon the fact that this business didn't even have the courtesy to respond to my Yelp inquiry. I live with, and care for, my 93 year old father who has Alzheimer's. I sent a message to Lee's, inquiring about installing a dual keyed deadbolt on our front door to prevent him from wandering and becoming a news story.
The fact that this business does not care to respond to their potential clients is very disheartening.
I will never become a customer of theirs, and I encourage others to act like wise.

This dude carved a key quicker than I could reply to an email with a yes or no question.
I was like, "Gosh darn I'm short on time" ... "do I really want to go into this brick and mortar just to get a key copied?" I thought to myself.
"Where is the nearest kiosk at a Ralph's?" I wondered.
Don't even waste your time with the kiosk. You can get in and out of this store in two minutes. Kiosks will take you at least seven or eight.

Called Lee's this morning for a lock out at my son's home. They said they would be there in 20 minutes. They arrived in 10! Dave helped us out quickly, he was friendly and professional. I highly recommend! Excellent service reasonable price.
Later that day he helped us out again with a small problem we'd been having with a lock at our home. Again arrived promptly and fixed the problem quickly.

I got 2 keys on Friday for our house guests...Just checked them, and only one of them works. I was just about to drive back there..and they are closed today..Saturday. Everyone should check their keys I guess after having them made just in case...It would have been a disaster if I had gone out of town, and left keys for my guests that didnt work...:( Grrr

Trusted them to make a key for my car, ended up getting one for a good price. Unfortunately my car was 40 miles away and I had to borrow a friend's car to go to my house away from college and grab my original for copying.
The key didn't work so I ended up towing my car back to Encinitas from La Mesa, only to be told that they had no blanks for it and that the best they could do was a $5 refund.
Also the man who tried testing the poorly made key claimed my car smelled like wasabi to which I assumed was some type of racist joke to my Asian background.
