They came in time; explained what they were going to do; installed all the units and set each AC unit with remotes.
Greg explained and showed me how to set the remote control devices which made it easy for me to remember how to change any settings. Today I had Alex, in the past I had Nacho. Alex was great and had been to my house before with Nacho. I was happy to remember Alex (actually Alex remembered me first) I have used this company about 4 times. I changed many years ago from another company (Rip-off the service techs make extra money buy getting you to pay for other unnecessary services) the old company was trying to tell me I needed a new compressor for my air conditioner. For a 2nd opinion Coastal was recommended to my by my neighbor and at that time Nacho was the technician and he told me all I needed was to replace a wire it was

Coastal A/C installed a Fujitsu 24,000 BTU mini split with 2 12,000 BTU heads. Did a nice job: overcame surprises for this 1949 house, like the kitchen and living room walls were insulated concrete, not the standard wood frame construction! Had to route HVAC line under French Doors, where the 'line hide' would not fit. But this was easily solved with a little carpentry. The A/C is cooling the entire 1st floor very nicely, and is whisper quiet. The wife (my Boss :-) and I are quite pleased!

Realized our AC just stopped working, compressor just wouldn't turn on, house got HOT. Called Coastal first thing in the morning, pretty early too and they answered and got me on the schedule ASAP. GREAT News
Bad news is I basically already knew it was a capacitor issue. I was quoted at $89 for a house call, and $428 for a new capacitor which included install.
For those of you who don't know, capacitors are usually the main issue your system goes down, so bought a new one for $10.74 in Matawan, watched a four minute youtube video and I fixed it myself.

Coastal Air Conditioning has been servicing my AC unit for a few years now. They did not install the system (I wish they did). Fortunately, I've only had minor problems with the system, but they have been very responsive and have fixed each issued quickly (and at a fair and reasonable price). I highly recommend Coastal Air Conditioning for installation and service.
