Services
Alan Burge Architecture was founded in 1999, as a full service architecture and planning firm. ABA can provide architectural services as well as construction and project management services for your project. We are members of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and are licensed in multiple states to service our national accounts.
Studies have shown that Americans spend more time in the workplace than with all their family members combined. The creation of innovative, comfortable, and productive workspace is at the core of our practice. Technological and business advancements are changing the nature of work and the needs of the new knowledge worker.
ABA subscribes to the planning tenants described by the Charter for The New Urbanism, that is to say that cities and town planning should foster and promote a quality of life and sustainability. Our planning experience is unmatched in the area. We believe in the neighborhood model, diversity, and conservation and preservation of our built legacy, which will in turn foster a sense of place and historical perspective.
ABA can assist or run the project construction for your project. Scheduling, estimating, bid coordination, sub contractor coordination, are all part of our comprehensive services. We will also work with your contractor or Construction Manager to more closely integrate the architectural concept, and more closely monitor the project status.
We have designed townhomes for various New Urban projects utilizing different building types i.e.; mansion flats, row houses, and traditional townhomes. ABA has also worked with large production builders and developed multi-unit buildings for various communities. Our work centers on creating houses and additions which accommodate the lifestyles of the occupants.
