Established in 2013, our partnership is based upon a shared vision of the practice of architecture. Wheeler Boltz Architects prides itself on long term relationships with our clients, and we aim to be trusted advisors. We do this through listening to our clients' desires and challenges. Through an interactive collaborative approach to design, we tailor custom design solutions.

Wheeler Boltz Architects is located in the Highland Square neighborhood of West Akron in one of the oldest buildings in Akron, the Merriman Farmhouse, built in 1835. We have helped the property owner, our good friend and interior designer, David Hawkins Design Management, renovate and restore the property. The offices reflect our interests in sustainable design, community involvement and adaptive re-use, while imparting sensitive modernization of the interiors.
