Eli was fabulous he walked us through getting the gas fireplace going again (the pilot would not lite), over the phone and saved us the cost of a visit and we immediately got our fireplace lit.

We have done fireplaces in two homes with Fireplaces Plus. We have found their work to be excellent along with their customer service.

This company is amazing!!! We are so happy to have found an honest, reputable company. We live in a homeowners association of 94 units. This company has replaced many chimney caps for us. They are super reasonably priced ,always responsive and great communicators. Their fabricator did not fabricate the custom cap correctly and they had to come back. They did not charge us anything extra and they were super apologetic. Their work is 1st class. They will be our preferred vendor from here on out. Do not trust this place. My husband and I went here to get fire balls and a grate for our outdoor fireplace and had a horrific experience. The woman who helped us seemed inconvenienced to answer any questions we had and tried to charge us over $800 with a 12-14 week shipping delay. We ended up finding everything we needed for under $150 on Amazon (fire balls) and Home Depot (fire grate). This place is stuck in the 80's with their manual order process, traditional catalogue of items and overpriced bs. Find what you need elsewhere, but this place isn't worth your time or business.

They made promises to help me four months ago and never followed through. Said they were too busy and never bothered to call back. Then changed their policies. 0 rating.

Take your service and repair business elsewhere. Their follow up and quoting process is unorganized and dishonest. Over a week after the inspection I had to call in to get the repair quote. They rejected the job bc my fireplace was supposedly out of code. The repair had absolutely nothing to do with my fireplace. It's obvious that they were not interested in a smaller job. To me it was a blatant lie. I wouldn't trust them.

Jeff was knowledgeable, professional an offered us several options. He gave insight to potential issues in our older home and let us know specifics on permits and checking with our H.O.A. Beautiful showroom work many styles and decor.

I had to buy a replacement part for our outdoor fireplace. I worked with Sandi. She is the best!
She knows her fireplaces !!! I will go to her for all of my future fireplace needs. Excellent customer service and the most knowledgeable person I spoke with regarding this part.

First time we visited, we had friendly quick service. Today, we went back to order and they only have two sales reps. They were both with customers. There was one lady ahead of us waiting to be acknowledged. We waited for 10 minutes for someone to at least say hi. No one did so we had track down a rep to see if anyone could help us. The sales rep was completely unapologetic that there wasn't enough help available so we left.

Do not deal with this company they are a nightmare with honoring their warranty and customer service is horrible! I didn't even want to give 1 star but couldn't post without

We walked in to get an idea about what kind of fireplaces were available for our home. The salesman seemed annoyed, was condescending in his tone, and was visibly frustrated that we didn't know all the specs on our current gas fireplace. He had an agenda of his own, which was not to be helpful or courteous. He wouldn't explain any of the technical jargon to us. Every request we had was pretty reasonable, like desiring bedrock vs faux wood, but every answer provided was "no."

Thought it would be fun to check out fireplaces and my wife and I just left pissed off.

Go elsewhere! Had a great experience 5 years ago when we bought a fireplace from them had a horrible experience this time. They sold us a fireplace that is known to be extremely hot...it has cracked 2...yes 2...surrounding materials...Quartz and Granite. Their tech was hostile to me and my contractor...did not communicate well and blamed everyone else for the issues we've had. He was so hostile I had to make sure workers stayed with me so I was not alone with him. Few people have the knowledge, expertise, and family oriented service than the people at FPP. I stumbled across Janie and her husband Rick when I was a teenager and man has it served me well through out all of my needs for my home and outdoor patio. Ignore any bad reviews you see, there is not better place to turn to for home/hearth etc.

Had two non-working fireplaces that they had installed for the prior owner. They fixed one but didn't have the part they needed on the truck for the second one. When they came back out to install it (10 minute job) they charged another service call. When I questioned it, I spoke to Eli on the phone and I felt he was quite rude. I ended up paying a slightly reduced price for the service call. I'll go elsewhere the next time.

I would not recommend using this business. Four years ago my wife and I had the fireplace completely redone, inside and out. Because of its smaller size (built in the 90's) a specific remote starter and pilot assembly was recommended. The logs, the outer facade, the handles all look nice. However we have never been able to keep the system functional and after 4 years, they recommend replacing it with another system altogether. This, coupled with a service call for these issues within a year after the fact that never fixed the problem ($200 wasted) simply means that these people are just interested

Stopped in to get general information on direct vent fireplaces. Our polite questions to the female salesperson asking for general idea of installation costs were met with vague answers and confrontational attitude - the whole conversation seemed like a battle. Decided to call the next day to ask for installation dimensions of the other salesman; got directed to his voicemail and now 3 days later still no return call. Seems this company doesn't want our business.

I had a terrible experience with Jeff Chandler and Fireplaces Plus. I have an extensive email record with him, and at no point does he tell me that in order to operate these fireplaces, the doors must be open. This of course poses a fire hazard. If you close the doors on fireplaces with these electronic starters, the starters will melt. None of this was communicated to me, and when I spoke to Jeff he was quite surly on the phone. Avoid this company at all cost.

Thank You all at Fireplaces Plus - Your going out of your way to find new glass for the door of an rather old wood burning stove is remarkable. Your workmanship is so as well - one can even set the time after your prompt arrivals and deliveries. You even helped out with a small heater until I could make a fire again, and you never stopped being on the order, even repeatedly giving updates on the progress during evening hours. Again: Thank You! I will make sure to spread the word and recommend you where ever I can.

I called the number shown on Fireplacesplus.com's website with a question about gas fireplaces. I'm relatively new to the topic, and most sites don't really explain how it all is supposed to work.

I was fortunate enough to speak with Janie. She was incredible! She spent an HOUR with me answering questions, explaining how parts worked, reviewing products I had and providing configuration recommendations.

In the end, based on what I already had, I needed just a $50 part. She wouldn't have it in stock until next week and knew I was in a hurry. She then recommended competitor

They get 2 stars for their selection, which is very good. But that's it for positives. As previous reviewers have noted, they are not friendly. But I was willing to put up with it in order to find something cool and unusual for our dual-sided fireplace.
