If you go to open your garage door and it only comes up a short distance, you might have a broken spring. With a broken spring, the door is too heavy for the garage door opener motor to lift and it cuts out because the broken spring is not helping to lift the door. Also, check to see if there's a space between the coilssee pics.

We called for service of our garage door. The individual arrived the same day - just an hour or two after the call. He determined the issue and fixed in in the next hour or so. Issue was fixed. Couldn’t have been more impressed!! Couldn’t get into my garage at 10:30 AM. Called them and they were at my house by 1:00, and had me in the garage by 1:20. I needed a new motor and springs, and they were able to do everything the next morning for a good price. The guy that showed up, Daniel, was very nice and professional, and did not attempt to sell me anything I didn’t need. If I ever have an issue with my garage in the future, I’m calling them.

I’ve said it multiple times, “I would recommend them to anyone, any day!” I needed to increase the height at which my garage door would open to, in order to accommodate our larger SUV with a rack on top. I had multiple companies come out for quotes and CityScape was the only one who told me they COULD do what I was wanting for so much less than everyone else. All the other companies said that I’d have to get a new side-mounted motor, etc, and it would cost around $1500, while CityScape used my working motor and did everything for more than $1000 less.... Will ONLY call them
