When the sunlight hits the solar panel, it 'excites' the electrons and gives them enough energy to move, and when a bunch of electrons start to move along in the same direction, we have electricity. This type of electricity is called direct current or DC electricity. An Inverter is necessary to take the DC electricity generated by the solar panels and turns that power into alternating current, or AC electricity, that's what you need to power your home or commercial solar installation.
This AC electricity flows into your home through a meter, where you are then able to run appliances, turn on your light switches, powering every room in your home, storing any unused power or sending it on to the grid for others to use.
At night, when there is no more sunlight, your system will automatically begin to draw on the power you collected during the day, when you use the rest of that power, your system will automatically switch to grid power, keeping a seamless flow of energy into your home or commercial solar installation, without you even knowing the difference.

I had the displeasure of working with Abundant Solar on a solar project for my home. Their quote came in extremely competitive, so I decided to give them a shot.
The first issue that I saw was that the quote on the Energy Sage website showed that their quote would meet my electric needs but the actual contract showed a vast difference. (For details, my EnergySage quote cited 17,160kwH in first-year production. On my contract, this was changed to 15k.
The 2nd issue was that my contract was all-inclusive, parts, labor, etc. Abundant Sola then reached out to me to say that they needed an additional

I interviews at least 4 different companies and ultimately code Abundant Solar. The reps were very professional and knowledgeable. More importantly, they bent over backwards to help us out. We had credit issues, but they still worked with us to get us approved. After we got approved, they set us up for installation and did an amazing job. The panels look great, the workmanship looks like they truly paid attention to the details, and their follow up was amazing. I highly recommend Abundant Solar.

My husband has been trying to contact you and left lots of messages. We have the solar panels in and so far doing great but have a question. Looked on the website for addresses and the Broadway shop is empty and also the Helotes one too. Are you still in business? We are going to contact BBB and CPS to check up on the company.

I enjoyed a great experience with Abundant Solar from start to finish. Dave, the sales consultant, was very informative, and could answer or verify any question that I asked him during the entire process. Trisha is customer-friendly, and treats each client like a friend. She stayed on top of things throughout the process. The two young men who installed the wiring were very patient and friendly. They were also able to give precise descriptions of each step of their part of the process. The CPS Inspectors and Installers were also great. The CPS Installer, who also uses a solar system at his house

Currently in the process of getting solar with this company. They have the worst communication skills ever between employees and their customers. Sad part when I asked why I wasn't told things the guy explained that it happens between employees and made it sound like it was expected.
They did not keep us informed so much that they just randomly showed up to do panel installation. We thought he was there just to look at our electric box to prepare for installation but by the end of his visit he had installed panels. It seems to be normal business for them to do work on your home when you are not

One years ago I entered into contract to have solar energy put on my house. At that time Fred Brimhall @ Abundant Solar took a draw for $5846.50. One years later, I do not have solar on my house and I am out $5846.50. When I called Fred today to ask about this he hung up on me. https://www.yelp.com/
