The costs are very competitive and I chose ground shipping, but I suppose they had a truck coming out and upgraded my shipping to speedy ship and I was able to get back to work on my project sooner than expected. Ordered the correct piece of glass and there was what we thought was a scratch on it when opened and we were ok with that as long as the glass fit and worked. (Its winter and we need the woodstove for heat.) Let the cement and the new gasket set for over 8 hours, built a small fire and no problems. Woke up the glass being broke and contacted their customer service only to be told we installed it incorrectly as the crack happened where the brackets are. I installed the glass per the manufacturers specifications for that stove as to not risk overtightening the brackets. But they would offer me a

I purchased a epi22 timberwolf wood burning insert to the tune of $1900+ and have been endlessly disappointed with it from the beginning. The unit has a pathetic blower motor and a sloppy door hinge along with a small firebox that only accommodates 3 or 4 pieces of firewood at a time. The loud creaking and popping noises that come from the expansion and contraction of the unit will keep you awake all night long. The unit has been properly and professionally installed and my home is well insulated. The epi22 struggles to keep just my 200 sq.ft. living room warm, not to mention the rest of the home

Shopping for a gas log set to install in an existing fireplace was crazy-making. I'd never looked before and coming upon vented, ventless, etc, etc was crazy-making. Local shopping didn't help much. The store seemed to have things they wanted to sell even though their spiel had a lot of "we want to find out just what's right for you" stuff.
Online had too little support of any kind until finding New Energy Distributing. After using the site, I phoned and that really opened the door to making a proper selection.

I am happy with the heat output. It is sufficient to heat up a large living room. Remote control with thermostat is another well appreciated feature of this product. With remote controls, once I set the temperature accordingly and can leave it alone. It is a steal for this cheap rate. This looks so real that, no one even understands that it is not real wood.

I ordered a valve from this company, was told it would work on a customer's fireplace. After it would not work I was told I would need 3 more parts in order for that valve to work. I wrote a comment on there chat blog about how I unhappy I was about only getting free shipping and not some kind of discount because of their mistake. We contacted a few different fireplace stores locally in California to help us with conversion from Natural Gas to Propane. The fireplace was brand new and we had purchased the wrong one. It was used less than 6 times and we needed the discontinued conversion kit. All the stores wanted us to buy a new fireplace. I thought it was crazy to replace the whole thing with construction to the room when my unit was brand new. I found New Energy online and their customer service via email was excellent.
