When Judy, Greg or Brandon come to your home, they bring over 100 years of family flooring experience. Not only do they measure the job, they help you with practical solutions for your carpeting needs. They can talk to you about carpet twists levels, face weights, pile height and density. Judy and Brandon are the expert measures and Greg and Brandon are the technical experts in carpet and flooring.
Home Based Carpet and Flooring brings the wood flooring samples directly to your home so you can see them where you use them. Maples, hickories, red and white oaks, birch, exotic woods and bamboo are all in stock. We prefer to sell American made hardwood flooring products if possible. As a matter of fact, one of our largest suppliers of wood floors is located in Somerset, Kentucky and uses trees from a 200 mile radius of Somerset.
There are many flooring choices when it comes to vinyl flooring. The available styles range from traditional to contemporary, allowing you to mix and match. Some styles have patterns, or simulate marble or slate flooring. Large tile patterns (16" x 16") are very popular in vinyl tile and sheet vinyl flooring.
Our mobile flooring showroom brings laminate flooring samples directly to your door at direct warehouse pricing and Certified Flooring Installers (CFI). Laminate floors have quickly become an alternative to hardwood flooring. Laminate floors are resistant to stains, fading, dent resistance and depending on construction, are more scratch resistant than many wood floors.

Everyone at home based carpet was very nice and helpful. We were wanting to replace all of the carpet in our condo to sell. They didn't try selling us on the most expensive carpet but a nice looking, affordable option. We had to wait a little bit longer than normal due to supply issues and the pandemic. But even our bigger job was finished up in a day. It looks great and we couldn't be happier.

We had a great experience with Home Based Carpet & Flooring. Being able to compare the carpet swatches to the furniture in our home made it much easier to choose the right shade. My husband loves the soft, plush feel of the carpet and padding.
Extra kudos go to the installation team. They were very conscientious, sweeping away the red berries that had fallen onto the driveway and sidewalk from our sweet bay magnolia so that they didn't track them into the house. There were also many dark marks on our existing carpet, and it turns out they corresponded to cracks in the basement floor. I was hesitant

I was a little hesitant when I heard they come to the home with samples, but Greg listened to my needs and was able to provide several samples that I loved. It was nice to be able to see how the carpet would look in my house lighting. They were very accommodating on my tight time line. The installers did a fantastic job and left my home spotless. A neighbor recommended Home Based Carpet. I called and am glad I did. They are very accommodating and did a fantastic job. I started having second thoughts about the color of carpet I picked and they met me at the warehouse so I could see it before the carpet was laid. I appreciate the attentiveness to made sure I was satisfied. Their son helped install the carpet and was very helpful with any questions and concerns I had. Everything turned out great and I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

Awesome! Carpets in the new house were saturated with pet smell from previous owners. Carpet cleaning was a failure. We contacted Greg at Home Based Carpet and flooring on Saturday morning. He came to our house that afternoon and showed us samples. We picked out our materials and he scheduled installation that very Wednesday. All work was… completed in 6 days time, and not only was our house stink free, but it was absolutely beautiful! We are so grateful to HBCF! We had a total of 4 rooms re-floored. Office dining and 2 bedrooms and are so happy with our experience that we will hire HBCF

Fantastic service, exceptional work, and best decision for our stair. Our stair matches the laminate in our basement which had to be torn out because of damage. We wanted a hard surface in the stair so they would be super easy to clean, and because they’re open to our main level which is all hardwood. The Home Based team did a very detailed… installation and our stairs look better than they did before the job - by far! We are thrilled with how great they look and how properly done they are. My family and I cannot say enough good things about Home Based Carpet and Flooring. Greg, Brandon, and their entire crew are absolute craftsmen. They are not ‘contractors’, not ‘flooring guys’, none of that - they are artisans and masters of their craft. We were fortunate enough to have them install new Luxury Vinyl Panels in our entire first floor of approximately 1500 square feet. They had to remove carpet, go on top of existing parquet, and over rolled vinyl. They did all of this, installed new sub-flooring to make everything flush, and paid attention to every single detail.
