I had a great experience having the windows replaced in my condo this summer. I always received prompt responses for both emails and phone calls. I got an estimate and timeline in writing promptly and they were accommodating around my inflexible work schedule several times. Once they got started the project started and ended on time. I was able to text during the project with last minute questions and received prompt responses. I am thrilled with my new windows and felt the process was smooth. I had all the communication I needed and felt clear on the project and costs at each step of the way

We have had Pat and his team work on our townhome many times over the past few years. First installing a skylight, then remodeling our kitchen and most recently replacing all of our windows and sliding doors.
Every time the crew has been very professional and done very high quality work. You can find a handyman to do some of the same projects but every time we hire Pat we know we are going to get the lasting results you'd want from a pro.

The team they have works so well and they are always on time.
When ever i had a question Shane or Pat always answered the phone and texted back.
Really organized. A++

A+ work on a full kitchen remodel. We had a wonderful experience with Pat and his entire team. The work was impeccable and all of the team members were delightful on the job site -- we lived in the house during the remodel. Pat kept us updated with weekly onsite meetings, and there were never any surprises. He also contributed a number of great ideas. In short, Pat and his team worked on our home as it if was their own. I walk into my newly remodeled kitchen every day, loving everything, extremely grateful for their skill, dedication, and top-notch work ethic.

After reading all 5 star reviews, I contacted Patrick Kavanagh in May 2017 about a bath addition. He positioned his company as a design and build and would take care of everything so I was excited. The first sign of trouble was when he missed our first appointment, and when I called after waiting an hour, I was only able to reach his assistant Alba (which by the way was a constant problem afterwards...you will never be able to reach him directly. You need to work through Alba the gatekeeper, and he will contact you if and when he wants).

Chatting with my neighbor he told me about his recent debacle with Pat Kavanagh. Told me all the Yelp reviews were good, and wished I'd posted my review.
Years ago I hired him to replace multiple windows (all the same size). He didn't remove the window frames to measure them -- and you guessed it -- they didn't fit. He said I had to pay to have them replaced because it was my fault, there was no way for him to know the actual size without removing the window frame. Not sure how I was supposed to know to tell him to remove the frame, but that's how he is, never his

Minus one star each for a dose of being patronizing and brusk, one for not being able to get past the secretary (who is lovely on the phone) and another for throwing out numbers about 30% above what is fair without producing any documentation. Take a deep breath, be honest and say you are not interested.

Patrick Kavanagh and his team at Kavanagh Construction Company have significantly exceeded my high expectations. I had him replace windows, remodel a garage, kitchen, bathrooms, structural foundation issues, plumbing, sewer and water systems, basically rebuild an entire house for me. He is great at prompt, clear communication, manages his in-house staff and subcontractors well, but most importantly, he gets the job done perfectly. There are always issues with any construction project, the question is whether your contractor will get it done perfectly in the end. I am a difficult customer because

Kavanagh's team just completed a window replacement for us and we're thrilled with the results! Everything went as promised in terms of time, expense, anticipated mess (minimal !!!). The guys were able to match the exterior stucco so well that you can't even tell any work was done.
Clearly, this was a minor job for them given their capabilities but when it's your home you want it done right & on time - which they did! We'll definitely use them again as things pop up around the house.

Over 20 years ago we decided we would remodel our home soup to nuts. We completely changed the floorplan, changed the footprint of the house, all new electrical and plumbing, everything changed. We couldn't have done it without Pat Kavanagh's experience and help. Since then we would not make any improvements or repairs without him. Pat Kavanagh is very creative, efficient, has great guys working for him, knows great sub-contractors, and all the time they keep the site as tidy as possible.

We left the house unlocked one or two days while they were here and they locked up carefully and safely. Pat Kavanagh is very responsive in communication and obviously knows exactly what is needed.
