Marshall Paetzel Landscape Architecture, PC was founded by Stacy Paetzel, a New York State Registered Landscape Architect. Ms. Paetzel is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the US Green Building Association. Currently Ms. Paetzel is active as co-chair of the Parrish Art Museum's annual Landscape Pleasures symposium.
An active member of the design community, Ms. Paetzel organized review sessions and taught courses to assist up-and-coming landscape architects obtain licensure. Ms. Paetzel was appointed to the ASLA National Licensure Committee for her continuing work to promote the profession.
Growing up on a farm in rural Virginia surrounded by open meadows and mountain views inspired Stacy's love of native plants and landscapes that have a sense of place beyond the property line.Ms. Paetzel graduated from Virginia Tech University's nationally acclaimed five-year landscape architecture program in 2000.

Services
MPLA begins each project by first establishing the client's program, and then performing a detailed analysis of the site. As these two tasks are accomplished, a vision emerges that blends the clients' personal style with the intended use of the space. The vision is then refined with input from the client and attention to even the smallest details.
Each design is proceeded by a visit to the site by the entire team. In addition to photographing the site and taking inventory of existing conditions, we discuss the design program and begin to formulate possible solutions. Immediately after the team site visit, we have an in-office design charette, where each member of the design team has the opportunity to present their ideas and explore them as a group.
Marshall Paetzel Landscape Architecture is seeking a Landscape Architect/Designer for a full-time position in our Mattituck design studio. MPLA is an innovative and growing firm specializing primarily in high-end residential, resort and environmental restoration projects on the East End of Long Island.
