Gibney Design LA PC is a small and efficient office with a staff of between three and five employees with various credentials in the design and horticulture disciplines. Continued education of our staff is incorporated to stay current with trends and improvements in science, technology and products available to the profession and necessary for our Client's needs.

Gibney Design LA PC combines its vast experience and practical knowledge to provide meaningful education programs and seminars to professionals, municipalities, horticulture groups and organizations. A new website was formed to provide on-line credits for landscape architects and ISA certified arborists.
According to the federal law commonly known as Stormwater Phase II, permits are required for construction activities disturbing one or more acres. Operators of construction activities must obtain permit coverage under either an individual permit or one of the general permits prior to commencement of construction.

He took on a pool project in Queens eventhough he wasn’t licensed to file with the NYC DOB. He claimed to not have known this. He then tried to get an engineer to stamp his drawings but was unable to find a single colleague to work with him. He wasted my time, money and set back my project indefinitely. He then had the audacity (and free time) to take me to small claims court for the drawings which were incomplete and useless to me. He told the arbitrator it was the Expeditor’s fault because the Expeditor was supposed to have engineers that they work with to complete the job. Any architect
