When we decided to get a solar energy system, this company stood out for us as 1) it is local, 2) the majority of reviews hold Solar Centex in high regard, 3) it has NABCEP Board Certifications for PV Technical Sales AND for PV Installation Professional, 4) it has its own certified master electrician, and 5) some of its own people use the same components/systems that are put into customers' projects. I initially chose Solar Centex because of their excellent reviews, and have been so happy I did. They took care of everything in the application process, including my HOA requirements. The finished installation looks fabulous, better than any other in my neighborhood. My first electric bill of $0 in the heat of July cemented my opinion - 5 stars all the way.

I recently Had a system installed by the crew at Solar Centex and I honestly couldn't be happier! I had some initial reservations like I'm sure alot of people do when it comes to going solar it's a huge investment. but the crew at Solar Centex not only met my expectations but exceeded them !!. from my initial email with sabrina who was there with me every step of the process..she answered any questions I had .. to trinidad who lead the crew who performed the installation of my system they showed up 30 minutes early!! We are SO happy with our recent solar panel and battery system install!
We were kind of guinea pigs for one of the 16.7kW popular LG batteries that Solar CenTex is starting to carry and install. There were some things that they had to work out to make sure that the system was working the way that it was supposed to, but I told Scot that I'd rather the system take longer to put in and it be put in RIGHT than it to be put in fast and not well. While it did take longer than initially anticipated, they were still well within their contracted time for the install... AND I still recommend them

I was looking to build a pergola at my house and came across Solar Centex. I had some specific requirements; they had no problem meeting. They went over all the benefits of getting solar panels, and they even gave me a Customer Book on what I should do and expect after the solar panels were installed. After comparing prices with other companies we chose to go with Solar Centex for several reasons. First and foremost, Sabrina is amazing!! She loves what she is doing and is very responsive to questions asked. We have changed and added things randomly throughout the process and Solar CenTex has been very patient and willing to work with us. I love that they can do alternate was of getting solar power to your house. We had some placed on the house and had a pergola built with solar panels on top. They did a fantastic job!! We choose Solar CenTex because their installation looked so much more professional than other companies we looked at. Sabrina Arnold came & explained there systems to us in easy simple ways. She showed us apps on our phones to track usage. Everything was straightforward & simple. The installers were so nice & professional. We were very impressed. But the best part was watching our apps because we could see energy clicking back into the grid. And what that means is the energy company owes us! It doesn’t get better than that

What a simple and awesome experience from start to finish. From the first time they came to the house to talk about their product, the information provided was great and exactly what we were looking for to make our decision, no pressure and never once had a negative comment about the competition. Installation was smooth, the crew was always on time and checked in with us when they were done for the day and left our yard clean, like they were never there. I have wanted solar for years so I contacted Solar Centex and scheduled a meeting with Sabrina. I emailed her some info about my electric consumption and when she showed up for the meeting she had a complete plan and price already prepared. She's very knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions. Highly recommend them as they were accommodating on where to place the inverter so that it was out of site. After the installation Sabrina came back out and helped me change my electric plan and how to monitor the panels through the ap. Looking forward to the meter running in reverse.

I would definitely recommend Solar Centex to anyone! They Installed a 33'x17' Solar pergola in our backyard that now produces us 100% of our electricity needs! We currently have a $45 credit from our Electric Company! Woo! They are paying us now instead of US paying THEM! I love the fact that I get to produce all my energy, extend my patio and add value to my home all in one! and OH! I don't have to pay property taxes on the value of my solar system! Oh! and i got a 30% tax credit off the total cost! It CANT get any better than that! Solar Centex is a local company and they took care of us like

I just had solar panels put on my house with Solar CenTex and I'm so excited to see how well the Texas sunshine is working to reduce my electric bill! I was really concerned that the cost of installing solar panels would be too high and wouldn't be worth it for me but I did a ton of research. I looked at my electric history for the last two years to come up with an annual average and then I got 3 estimates from companies in Texas. I really hate giving this bad of a review to a Veteran owned company but when they are not completely forthcoming with information, lie about their proposal, and when the deal is cancelled and the owner, Howard "Scot" Arey, tells me I'll get a refund on my deposit and lies about that too, well I have no choice.
