Thank you for considering Yates Remodeling LLC for your project. In my 15 years in the remodeling industry, I have been proud to provide high quality and efficient services. I founded Yates Remodeling to create special living spaces and fulfill my vision of the intersection of great design and quality construction.
I decided to start my own company at the age of 20. My passion for the craft of remodeling has since evolved. Now I also enjoy designing space for clients to live in. Being able to create a floor plan and then render a 3D model of a customer's project has helped me think of all aspects of a their needs and goals.
Every remodel is a transformation for the clients that enjoy them. We are honored to facilitate many different kinds of projects that find space where there wasn't enough, create space where it is needed, and bring updated functionality and aesthetics to make a home more enjoyable. We had a fantastic experience with this GC. Yates had a reasonable quote, but what really made them stand out was their creative vision for our space and professionalism. We were very happy we went with them, as the quality of the work finishing our attic was excellent. They communicated throughout, were very transparent with progress, and came in on time and in budget with their work. We would definitely use again.

We enjoyed working with Yates to convert our screened patio to a 3 season room. They were so easy to work with and excellent communicating with us at every step.
The also worked very quickly and were ahead of schedule to complete this project.

We hired Yates to finish a 1,000 sq foot attic space, adding a media room, extra bedroom, full bath, and closet spaces. The project included expanding the capacity of the HVAC system, an engineering analysis of load capacity of the roof/joists, adding a skylight, and extensive plumbing & electrical, so it was not just cosmetic remodeling.
Our experience was the best we have ever had with a contractor. Cameron Yates, the owner, is very hands-on. He did all of the design work and much of the framing and carpentry himself, with the help of

Words cannot express how much we love our screened-in porch and patio. Our home was brand new when we hired Cameron for this project. But it had a really small deck and an odd floor plan to get to it. Cameron created 3D designs for changing the door to the outside, creating a screened-in porch, and a covered patio for a seating and grill area. We wanted a space that would feel like a vacation every time we used it, and it does. The lighting design is a show stopper and makes the space as fun to use at night as during the day. Next, he sends you a visual layout of what you talked about and a very fairly priced estimate and timeline. Next, his team of highly skilled experts come in and get the job done - it's that simple.

We first met Cameron in 2010 when he redid our bathroom floors. Initially we were going to use another guy but when he never showed on the first day of work I considered that a bad omen and asked a close friend for her recommendations. She suggested Cameron. I was so glad she did because he was 100% professional. He showed up for work on-time, prepped the project so it didn't look like a war zone and charged a fair rate. I couldn't ask for more.

Yates Contracting did the remodeling of our Master Bathroom. It consisted of all new tile, bathtub, shower, vanity cabinet, countertop and sinks, and mirrors. Their attention to detail and quality of work was excellent. We were very pleased with the way they kept the work area cleaned up each day and protected the rest of the house from dust and dirt.
A year later we had them update two other bathrooms with new tile, vanity cabinets, countertops and sinks and mirrors. We were also very pleased with their work on that project.
We will go to Yates Contracting for future remodeling projects.

The Yates crew did a great job on our remodel. The project came in a little longer in the schedule and a bit above budget than we originally expected, but we did have some "older home surprises" that needed to be addressed -and we requested some changes along the way. At the end we got a really nice looking space we can use for entertaining. I would definitely recommend.

Cameron and his crew are remarkable. Their attention to detail and professionalism is impeccable. They are open to suggestions along the way and flexible to improving an already perfect product. Communication is very timely and prompt, which is always appreciated in this business. I would recommend them over and over again to do nearly anything from new construction to remodel to maintenance. There is no one else in North Carolina to use in my opinion.
