Absolutely, if they are required for the scope of the work. Permitting makes sure that your project is being built to National Building codes. Inspections of the work performed insure that the project is being built for your safety. Some projects do not require permits and educating our clients on that is part of our responsibility.

We chose Wake Remodeling (WM) after interviewing multiple contractors. We ultimately broke off the relationship because the business model did not work for us. We were originally given a range estimate, entered the design phase and made a payment (>3K) and after the design phase we were given a final quote. This quote was nearly 20% above the high end of the estimate. We had a large project, refresh of multiple areas. Our quote however was a single price, nothing was line itemed. This did not allow us look at areas where we could make different choices and bring our price down.

Wake Remodeling completed a home project for us this year, and we couldn’t have been more satisfied! We are in love with our custom built-ins and ship lap that was added to our island kitchen. Once again we are filled with pride, happiness, and gratitude for the superior work done by Wake Remodeling. This master suite renovation was our second project with them; the first was an award-winning kitchen remodel. I didn't get past the estimate stage with them so keep that in mind. We wanted a basic renovation for our small kitchen, nothing too fancy, just new midrange cabinets and countertops. No changing of layout or moving walls or plumbing. They quickly gave us an estimate but it was dramatically higher than estimates at other places, even specialty ones. I called and asked for clarification because the price given was more in line with filling a much larger kitchen with fully custom, fully solid wood (no plywood or fiberboard) cabinets and top-of-the-line countertops. Luke and his team at Wake Remodeling are makeover All Stars! They transformed 3 of our bathrooms into spaces that are beautiful and spa-like. Everyone we worked with was professional, yet down to earth and flexible with us. It's a daunting process, filled with lots of decisions, but they made it fun and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. We will definitely use Wake Remodeling again for future projects.

I have had Wake Remodeling do several House and Garage Updates, they have all exceeded my expectations. I had some granite work and a vanity put in, some light fixtures and kitchen work. It was all done with excellent and great taste. I also had my garage updated. They installed additional shelving that can is useful and appealing. They have done work for our Private Medical Practice and family and friends. They are just a great team.

Wake did our kitchen. The work they did was awesome. They assisted us with all the selections - and the choices are great. On top of the work being great - they were always there when they said they would be and kept us posted at every step of the process. Wake Remodeling did an excellent job with repairing a room that had been damaged by a storm. The work was done very well, and on schedule. I found it very easy to communicate with the contractor (luke Dobbins) and the workers. I did have to get paint colors changed, and they have been very good about working with me to fix the issue. I don't mind issues when they are addressed and corrected. I chose Wake Remodeling because the price was very good, the BBB rating was very good, and they had excellent marketing on their website and on social networking.
