We had our kitchen remodeled in Summer of 2016 and also put granite in our 4 bathrooms. We went with Simply Solid Surface for our counter tops as she had a better price on the same slabs I had on hold than the contractor performing the rest of my job. I showed pictures of the edge I wanted and they told me what it was called. When the counter tops showed up, it was not the edge I wanted, but they said it was the edge that they told me (which was different than the picture I showed them). They agreed to redo the edge of my kitchen counters at my expense (an extra $500-600) to what I was wanting

I called Simply Solid Surface after a web search to see if they'd be willing to come out to my home and provide an estimate. Let me just forewarn you that the web reviews don't seem to be accurate accounts of experience. The reviews here on Yelp - seem to fall in line with my experience more so.
First, upon getting a voice on the other end of the line, I had to confirm that the number I'd even called was in fact that of the company! The lady that answered, identified herself as "Julie," but never answered by the company name - so I gather it's her cell phone number

Julie and her workers do not seem to care about quality work or good customer service. The process for installing black galaxy granite in our L shaped kitchen with a large island started out well but quickly turned horrible. We were told the work would take one day and the first day they had the wrong size granite for part of the L. They sloppily put together our island with a piece if plywood much smaller than the granite and the knee wall. There were gaps in between the wood, wall, and granite and it all looked very cheap and sloppy. Julie originally told us the island could be cut with the

Julie was prompt and punctual for our estimate appointment at our home. Very knowledgeable and we have been eager to get our estimate back. It's been over a week now without a response, or a returned call to my 3 voicemails. I hope I have an opportunity to change my review but so far, things aren't looking good.
