Services
Granite is an igneous plutonic rock, which during its development was melted volcanic lava, but unlike the lava, never reached the surface. Without reaching the outside, this molten rock slowly cooled and crystallized forming a very uniform speckled stone. Essential recognition characteristics for granites are the randomness of the mineral grains and the compact structure, once there are almost no recognizable cavities.
DAILY CLEANING: We recommend Ivory Dish Soap only because it is made without animal fats and free of dies. Many other brands contain fats, dyes, and scents which will damage the stone, including Dove, Dawn and Antibacterial soaps. We suggest never using Windex on Granite, no matter what other people say, the ammonia reacts differently to different stones and can cause permanent streaking.

Grand Stone is a fantastic company! They did an outstanding job on our kitchen countertops and backsplash (quartz and subway tile). It looks so beautiful. And Sheila was a pleasure to work with -- professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They also accommodated us when we needed to change the schedule due to an issue on our end with the sink. We replaced the counter tops in our kitchen recently with Quartzite. Grand Stone did a great job. The counter tops are beautiful. The installation crew was courteous and professional. Sheila was knowledgeable and kept us in the loop during the entire process. We are using Grand Stone again using the remnants from the kitchen in one of the baths. I would recommend Grand Stone highly for counter top installation.

I CANNOT RECOMMEND Grand Stone HIGHLY ENOUGH!!! From the moment I first called I was treated with professionalism and provided with excellent customer service (a rarity in today's world!). I needed countertops for a small galley kitchen and a powder room. I selected from among their extensive collection of beautiful remnants, and am thrilled with the veined quartz that I purchased. Grand Stone did an excellent job on our kitchen granite. We needed two slabs of stone, so had them cut the extra into a fireplace surround and hearth. They did a great job of laying out the sections on the slabs to optimize the appearance. Christina was a pleasure to work with and all staff were very professional, including the person who came out to measure, and the onsite installers. Edges were cut and polished to perfection. Would recommend them to anyone!

Oh 'ma goodness.... Grand Stone is a hidden gem!! I've been through the ups and downs with the contractors and the subs lately, so to stumble upon Christina and the rest of GS, was a breath of fresh air I desperately needed.
