Big Bear local here & I wouldn't choose anywhere else for a storage unit up here. Best perk is that they stay open till 10:00 p.m. and most storage places up here close at 7:00 p.m.

Highly recommend Fox Farm Storage. The customer service is second to none. I was in need of both storage and a parking spot. Fox Farm was able to assist in a very timely fashion. Not only were they able to assist but they handled the entire transaction via phone and email. Great team to work with!

I needed to rent a truck for a small move. I called Fox Farm Rentals, and the woman whom I spoke to was wonderful. She gave me all the information I needed, plus some really great advice. If you need to rent a truck, this company will give you the honest truth and walk you through the whole process.

My trailer was broken into the very first day I stored it there. Lots of expensive items taken. Their security cameras were worthless. Two other friends were also robbed in separate incidents. Crime in Big Bear is getting out of control these days, but this place is not increasing security at all. The entire rear of the place is unfenced, unlit with useless surveillance. Store at your own risk.I will say the staff is very friendly, and dealing with them for billing etc was a breeze. But my number one concern is security, and without that, nothing else really matters. I'm sorry, but I need to give Fox Farm Storage a 1 star rating. Myself and two other friends all stored our toyhaulers there for the summer. On the very first day I put my trailer there, it was broken into and robbed of over 1500.00 worth of goods. Several other trailers and boats were hit that day as well. I wrote it off as bad luck, but still called the police. Security footage was useless. Over the summer, BOTH of my friends were also robbed in separate incidents. One another full break in, and the other they stole his batteries and solar panels without breaking in. This tells me that the

Fox Farm Storage seems about the best for the local area. Somewhat personable and accommodating.

Here's the rub- upon renting the unit, everything is done on line and you aren't able to read the fine print. The fine print does not inform you that the storage facility does not send a monthly bill - they just expect you to pay it, or they just bill your credit card. So, when the 5th of the month rolled around, I receive a notice that the payment was late, and that there was a $26.25 past due payment also due.

Just a quick update, I've continued to use this facility in the summer to store my summer toys and they continue to provide excellent service and a very secure facility. Their prices (for RV storage) seem to be about the highest in-town however after looking at the other facilities in-town there is no comparison. Nice, well-marked paved spots, wide aisles and generous gate access hours keep me coming-back!

The facility looks great, easy access. Be aware that the storage units are not water or dirt proof. I lost several items that were close the the front of the until. and everything was completely covered in dust. They are also pretty harsh if you are late at all on your payments. Very high late fees. The staff was friendly, and helpful.
