In accordance with several request, we have reviewed the literature you provided us on the " pressed pile system" (PPS) which uses sixinch diameter by twelve inch long unconnected contcret cylinder with a large concrete block pile cap. We have evaluated this underpinning method in general and made comparisons to the foundation repair system utilizing drilling piers with underreams.
Most older pier and beam structures are braced with wooden stifflegs or other unstable objects, such as bricks or rocks. These types of bracing do not remain stable. With a wood to ground contact, the bottom of these stifflegs are subject to erosion from moisture and wood feeding bugs. Problems such as shaky floors, settling walls, cracked sheet rock, and uneven doors can easily occur.
Frequently, foundation problems in the Big Country are the result of the perimeter of the foundation settling. When the steel piers are installed under the perimeter grade beam and the foundation is returned to its original position (raised), a void is created under the slab. In some instances, it may be necessary to fill this void to properly support the foundation.
B & B steel pier installation process is landscape 'friendly'. Shrubs are very seldom lost and planter walls are rarely disturbed. Unlike the concrete pier installation process, with steel piers the amount of soil disturbed is minimal. This translates into less destruction to lawns. B & B steel piers are installed on the average 10 times quicker than concrete piers.

DO NOT use B&B would be my recommendation as the result of work done 9 months on my home in Brownwood .... that is if what you are told would be done would and what is done are the same.
I like the salesman and workers just fine, but what I was told and what took place were not the same. The pressures used, raising the sides of the home as a unit, monitoring the level of the home while the work was in process, caulking exterior cracks, repairing minor damage to the footing, coming to do a revisit.
The house was never checked for level the entire time of being worked on and when the crew was loading
