These folks are on the ball and probably prevented us from having a chimney fire. We were barely using our fireplace because we had a warm wall on the second floor during fires and smoke in the house after every fire. Also the house got very cold due to loss of heat up the chimney.
They rebuilt the brick at the back of the chimney so it would throw heat better , cleaned and lined the chimney and placed a rain cap. They explained every aspect about how our fireplace works and how they would fix it when we asked questions. They explained about how they would place a compound over the steps of brick
