They were not able to come out immediately, but it was not an emergency, so we scheduled an appointment and they were prompt and professional. Francis was very informative. I had a previous service call that was an apparent emergency and they came right out. When they determined that the cause was due to extraordinary heavy rain and not a plumbing problem, they didn't even charge me, earning a loyal customer as I was new to the area.

It was an already busy day at my 89 y.o. mom's 57 year old house, filled with a roofing crew and a new dishwasher delivery/install crew. To my dismay, the dishwasher delivery crew discovered after shutting off the water lines under the kitchen sink during the dishwasher installation that one of the shut-off valves began to leak quite profusely. (NOT their fault; very old galvanized plumbing)
When they left, I immediately Googled "Plumbers Redding CA" and began reading reviews. I called Modern Plumbing hoping someone would be able to make it out before the weekend, as the bucket catching the leak

I called late Thursday afternoon for an emergency pipe repair as we had to shut off the main which meant we didn't have water. They adjusted their schedule to come out first thing on Saturday and quickly fixed the problem. The parts they used were top notch, lasting 100 years. They showed me why the previous initial repair didn't work because the union cracked. The replacement parts looked more durable (use metal instead of plastic) and it was quality work with a friendly, professional technician. Definitely would recommend this company.

I found there number off Rheem website. I am extremely please and satisfied I did. Earlier I had another local company come out and the rep was persistent on me just buying a new 1400 water heater that there company could supply. I called Modern Plumbing because the Rheem rep said check with another company, and it sounds like a regulator that doesn’t cost much to fix or install. The owner sent his 2 guys out, they explained it was a $30 part and could be done in 15 min and would charge labor. I was soo thankful of their honesty, on time, accurate estimate, and they squeezed me in last minute

Brian and Pat were on time and hard-working at unclogging our sewer pipes. They worked diligently for over an hour. They were very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. My family couldn't be more thankful for their service to our home. I will not hesitate in the future if I need to call plumbing services again, these are the guys this is the place. The first time I had 2 units installed. One was fine and easy to do. The second unit had damage but he had already disconnect the old stove, put it on the delivery truck, fixed the propane conversion kit and connected the new unit. He pointed out some damage on the new unit and said we can file for a replacement unit. So he completed the install. I waited for the call about the new unit and Best Buy contacted the installer manager and he came out, performed a very thorough inspection, videotaped and took pictures of the damaged unit first received, took everything to Best Buy and they issued a
