Homeowners are becoming increasingly aware of the need to manage the indoor air quality of their homes. Clogged or dirty air ducts can negatively impact your HVAC system's performance. Air duct cleaning gets rid of clogged debris and improves air flow, greatly increasing the effectiveness of the system.
The more you use your dryer the more lint is going to build up inside the dryer vent. Lint production occurs when water is being removed from laundry during the drying cycle. An average load of laundry holds approximately one and a half gallons of water, leading to a decent amount of lint produced from a normal-sized load.
Dirty chimneys, or flues, are dangerous and can lead to fires, carbon monoxide poisoning, and loss of property. Large fires can be caused by the ignition of creosote, which is a black, tar like substance that builds up in the chimney due to regular use of your fireplace. Once this buildup catches ablaze, the fire can quickly spread throughout your home, through the walls, making it difficult to catch before it gets bad.
