A dust contained buffing system abrades your floor and removes scuffs, dirt, and top coat scratches. Buffing does not create airborne dust. You choose between Matte, Satin, Semi-Gloss, or High Gloss finish (High durability water based finish). A: Now days, with advancements in dust containment technology, there is very little to worry about as far as airborne dust goes.

My friends had hired a flooring contractor to refinish their floor, having no knowledge of the process or service to be performed, I was supervising and withn 3 days fired them. We looked into 3 new contractors and Mike was the first to respond. Mike was punctual for first meeting and I briefly explained the situation before entering the home. Moments into looking at the floor he began to explain his process and all the steps. I was confident because he was pointing out all major flaws the previous contractor had created and how he would correct them.

Fabulous! Elite Wood Floor Renewal has done several floors for me. I went through an extensive search for a contractor and finally found them through a google search. After talking with Michael I knew he was the right person for the job. He worked with me on color selection and scheduling, considering what I liked, but utilizing his experience to give us the best options. We were amazed when the job was finished ahead of schedule and on budget.

WE were extremely satisfied with their work. Mike and his group (particularly Matt) refinished our PRE FINISHED hardwood floor. Had to sand down to remove all the bevel at the joints in a prefinished floor. We had hopes and expectations. Mike explained the process and convinced us they were capable. They did the work and we could not be more pleased. the attention to DETAIL...from the large sanders to the last bit of hand work in the corners. Then offered choice of colors...10 areas of new stain and "what do you think"? want other choices? By next morning, decision did not change. and the rest

We have Brazilian teak wood floors that had been deeply scratched by the two Golden Retrievers we once had. Mike advised us insightfully on the best strategy to bring these floors back to life. For color selection, Mike was very helpful and honest with us on what stains would work best with this type of wood to get the best overall result. We hired Elite Wood Floor Renewal to remove the carpet in our Living Room and Dining Room, and then re-sand and re-finish the hardwood floor underneath. Elite's owner, Mike Miskawitz, quoted a price that was a little higher than other quotes we received, but my wife and I hired Elite because we were impressed by how specific and knowledgeable Mike was about the work to be done.

I purchased a new home that was in desperate need of new floors. As busy as Mike was/is, he made room in his schedule to get my project going. This was not an easy job; there were 5 different types of flooring, all of which needed to be pulled up (which his team did at a cost obviously). And as if cutting something as tough as solid birch wasn't enough, I made it more time consuming by having 1600 ft2 installed at 45 degrees--with no transitions. Mike and his crew (who were very nice and courteous) came in day after day and completed the job on time and it looks great.

Mike, the owner of Elite Wood Floor Renewal instilled confidence from the get go, and every step of the project he communicated what was completed and what was up next.
