Today I reminded the lawn care people at AAF (they parked in front of my house to mow across the street) that the business owes me approximately $500 that I had prepaid in 2016 and never received service. Also that the two reimbursement checks sent to me from AAF bounced. They have also damaged my lawn while bringing their vehicles from their trailer. Their response was to pour liquid on the street in front of my house. What else to say.

I completely agree with the prior review from Ginger Bartos which was 2 yrs ago. I had a very similar experience now (Aug 2021) 2 yrs later. I also liked Aaron, however, my scheduled project was either postponed several times, or no one showed up without notice. I had to call them every time to find out what was going on. Aaron finally told me that his larger commercial projects are his focus & take precedence over residential ones, even if you have a signed contract with a specified start date & a deposit down. So beware if you are a home owner & want to get something done in a certain amount

AAF Excavating did two jobs for us. One was an installation of a large shed. The other was a repair/upgrade of a very old septic system. The shed installation was finished off with an exceptionally attractive landscaping. The septic system involved digging and installation of a new tank to hold solids. Aaron suggested the solution and guided the project through township approval. Installation required a considerable amount of skill. All work was performed professionally. I have never received service from these people but i happened to be sitting in the home depot parking lot in honesdale pa waiting for my boyfriend to get out of work and for the hour i was sitting here (yes ik i was early) this older man who was on the mower and the 2 younger men were staring at me the whole time making me feel very uncomfortable (they walked very close past my car multiple times very obviously staring at me). they originally parked not to far from me but i saw they were doing work so i had moved my car so i wouldn’t be in their way. then as they proceed to leave, the older

Very Unprofessional, I wouldn't use them if they were FREE!!!! They would have to pay me to provide me their services. I been waiting well OVER A MONTH for a quote...Kept getting "you will receive by the end of the day" Spoke to the owner 2 days ago and still haven't received a call back!!!! Very sad and disappointed, I just moved to this state and I was hoping to gather what would be my "regulars" for certain services I would need basically for a lifetime and these people screwed me now I have to start from scratch and find a new landscaping company. I'm telling all my friends who NOT to use!

Called for an estimate for a retaining wall. Aaron came by promptly and took measurements and told me he would provide an estimate within the week. That was over a month ago. Never heard from him again. Even if the estimate would materialize now, I would never offer him the job. He has proven unreliable, therefore not worthy of my business.

I called this guys for a quote on fencing my back yard plus some other things i needed done, they came to my house and took measurements. The guy told me that i would have the quote by that upcoming friday, that was almost a month ago. I called the owner and explain to him that i hadn't received the quote. He told me i would have it first thing next morning and guess what im still waitting, But is ok i dont need to do business with people like this.

We had a very nice experience with AAF. We had extensive work to do on a retaining wall, paver patio and steps down an uneven slope AND a fire pit. All that work was done within 6 weeks. They had 5 machines and 10 guys on site some days! Aaron really knows his stuff and led us in the right.
We had a budget and even though we couldn't afford exactly what we wanted; but Aaron offered cheaper alternatives which fit.

For anyone who lives in the Poconos, it is very challenging to find a reliable company to plow a private residence in a gated community. in all transparency, I used someone else at the start of the season. 1 plow in and I knew I had made a mistake. the quality was no where near what Aaron’s team does. So, i immediately switched back to Aaron and I had top quality plowing for the entire season. Thank you Aaron for a job well done.
