Founded in 1991, Seamless Dean Flooring has proudly served the local businesses and residents of Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, Hillsboro and the surrounding communities for nearly 30 years. As part of the local flooring business community for the last 30 years, Seamless Dean Flooring has developed close working relationships with many of the Portland area flooring stores and flooring wholesalers.
New manufacturing techniques and new materials have created a whole new category of flooring - Luxury Vinyl. Luxury vinyl is distinct and unique from other vinyl goods, not only in how it's manufactured, but in the aesthetics and applications. Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) and Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) are the two types of luxury vinyl floors mainly differentiated by their shape and size.
Hardwood floors give your home a warm, rich look and feel. As the name suggests, solid hardwood is a single, solid piece of wood. Its natural simplicity has made it a popular flooring choice for generations, but that same simplicity makes it less than ideal for modern homes. Wood is a naturally porous material, meaning it is soft, extremely prone to denting and absorbs water like a sponge.
Laminate flooring is a synthetic floor that arrived on the flooring market in the 1970's. The first man-made alternative to natural wood, laminate quickly gained popularity as manufacturers created increasingly realistic looks that could easily pass for real hardwood. Laminate planks are solid without give and movement, similar to traditional hardwood.
Resilient flooring is a loose, catch-all term that refers to floor coverings that occupy a middle ground between soft floors (such as carpeting) and hard floors (such as stone or hardwood). Resilient flooring is defined by the Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI) as flooring that is firm, yet has a give or bounce back.

Dean quickly replaced a leaking toilet seal for me without making a mess. I also enjoy him as a friend and in my spare time have gone to many of his job sites and watched him work. He spends the necessary time on prep work such as smoothing out uneven floors or replacing rotten subfloor, which makes for a superior and longer lasting finished product, whether it be carpet, linoleum, laminate, tile or other flooring. He has many other skills besides flooring and is highly professional, talented and experienced.

Dean and his crew installed our Harlequin stage flooring for our church, Trinity Lutheran Church Hillsboro, Oregon. The installation was difficult, as it involved leveling the subfloor, gluing down 60 foot long rolls of rubberized flooring, and vinyl welding the seams. It meant many hours of meticulous hand labor and exacting work. No other installers in the area that we interviewed wanted to take on the job!
We are completely satisfied with Dean’s excellent work and after over a year of use there are no flaws in his workmanship. I would recommend Dean to anyone who is looking for a great quality

We've used Dean on four different projects over the years and in every case were very satisfied with the results. Our first project was a very challenging sheet vinyl installation where the sheet vinyl transitioned to carpet on a large arc in the middle of the floor. This was very difficult and came out perfect. Since then we've used Dean to install carpet and LVP, and as before he exceeded our expectations. Dean's strongest point is the quality of his installation. We are currently looking at having him install LVP in four other rooms.

I'm delighted with the transformation of the room with the new LVP flooring! Dean gave great advice and help choosing the plank, and got the install done fast. He and Carl paid a lot of attention to detail, giving me an excellent result, and they went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted. I will definitely be calling Dean again for my next flooring project!
