As a Detroit native and the son of a former Olympian, Peyton Carr, owner of AKVM Roofing in Bradenton, learned at a young age that his hard work and unwavering commitment to his values would help him achieve success. As a young man, Peyton was self-employed as a painter, working hard and making a fine living, until he met an older man who hired him to help with his roofing business.

Good work, nice people, professional. Squeezed my roof in between other jobs, which I appreciate.
I had issues with communication throughout the whole process, pre-sale all the way through to the end of the job but the job appears to have been done right, so makes up for these shortcomings in my book. I also have high expectations with any business I deal with as I feel communication is such a simple thing and goes a long way toward managing expectations.
A false promise also occurred but that happens when trying to squeeze someone in like they did so I did not make issue of it. Any negotiation

Fantastic experience start to finish. Second roof with AKVM in the past 6 years and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a metal roof installed. They installed my doors also as they are a licensed GC. One stop shop! Ben the sales manager set the right expectations, Fernando supervised a great crew of talented craftsmen that saved the roof on this 70 year old house. Dee the office admin was always available and responsive to my inquiries and provided in-process photos. Appreciated the efforts of a great team. Job is beautiful!

I used AKVM to replace my barrel tile roof this summer. I was very pleased with my dealings with everyone with the company, from Ben Faris that sold us the job, Fernando that handled issues at the end of the job to the owner, Peyton Carr. They were all very responsive to my concerns/issues. They went above and beyond what you expect of roofing company to do. Once the job was started, the installers were on my property virtually every day until the end of the job. I would highly recommend AKVM Roofing.

I found AKVM to be very professional from the sale to the finish. Ben explained the materials and gave me a detailed estimate. The team of men that came to remove the old roof and install the new metal roof were hard working, professional and cleaned the area when they were done. They did a great job! When we suddenly needed to have our 20-year-old shingle roof replaced within 30 days to avoid having our home insurance sky-rocket, we obtained bids from 3 reputable roofing companies, including AKVM. Not only did AKVM offer the best price, but they matched our HOA-recommended materials exactly. Ben explained everything clearly and also caught something that the other bidders had overlooked. During the installation, Job Supervisor, Fernando, was attentive and very prompt and helpful in responding to questions and concerns. Bottom line: They did a great job AND completed the job prior to our pressing

We had a small leak in our roof. Sales Manager, Ben Faris responded promptly to investigate the problem area. After determining that it was caused by a single nail protruding through the shingle he advised me how I could easily fix the problem myself. As a result they did not charge anything for the service call or repair advice. When the time comes for a new roof or future repair I will most definitely contact AKVM.

I would highly recommend this company. We had an old shingle roof replaced with new metal roof. The project was completed on time and on budget. Ben the sales manager was personable, professional and thorough, Fernando the project manager was professional, and extremely helpful keeping us updated and answered any questions we had. We had one little concern and Fernando remained at our property until the issue was resolved ( the issue was not with the roof). Thank you AKVM will be recommending your company to any one who needs roofing services.

We were in need of a new roof and decided to go with metal. I called several companies and Ben was the first respond and set a meeting. Ben was very knowledgeable, he explained in detail the materials used and the installation process. The crew that did the installation were very courteous and careful with our property. Once complete Ben scheduled a walk through to discuss any concerns, none were found. We had a very positive experience with AKVM and highly would recommend them.

I highly recommend AKVM Construction Group. We've checked over 7 companies and the AKVM gave us the best price. They do a high quality work and are extremely efficient. Our new roof looks exelent now. When I first met Ben, he told me that his team can only begin working on our new roof in three weeks but when I asked him if it's possible to start in 10-14 days instead of 3 weeks, he said yes and they started working in 2 weeks. It only took 2 days for them to have everything done!
They cleaned out everything after the work was done - no nails were left on the ground!
